I don’t think ggg looked very good vs rolls. Looked slow to me. Also didn’t he fight rolls at 164? Maybe he didn’t take it serious, I dunno. Is he gonna struggle to make 160? Not sure if SD can beat em but now might be his best chance.

but, you think someone would listen to the guy who said this.....
--------------------------------------------------------
Boxing1013..... PERSONAL WALL OF ******ITY
--------------------------------------------------------
thinks that Golovkin has a better resume than Canelo.....
I just made a thread about specifically why people rate Canelo's resume as better than GGG's...and I laid out my case as to why I rate GGG's better.....
https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...d.php?t=820918
thinks that one of the " killers " on Golovkin's resume could have beaten Canelo.... but he will not say which one LMAO
I don't think Canelo would have gotten all of his guys out by KO and maybe would not have 'won' all of them.....
https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...820918&page=10
thinks that Murray Lemieux Monroe and Vanes, are better wins for Golovkin..... than Lara Cotto Trout and Mosley, are for Canelo.....
Canelo's top wins would be Lara..Jacobs and Cotto imo...GGG's would be Jacobs, Murray and Lemieux...I don't see a ton of separation there..... winning 7-5 vs a great Lara...and going 12 with a shot fat Cotto...is not imo better than 8 Round destruction of Lemieux...and 11 round destruction of Murray..... Vanes was inactive and moving up in weight...but he wasn't shot like SSM more or less was..... I don't think going 12 with Mosley when Canelo did, or 12 with Trout, are better wins than GGG running through Monroe and Geale.....
https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...820918&page=16
thinks that Andre Ward is no better than Bika Barrera and Miranda
I just never really saw the skills from him..... if he was born in a different country I don't think he would have been looked at much differently than Bika Barrera or Miranda etc.....
https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...2#post19903762
thinks that Golovkin has 5-6 'great' wins..... but cannot even name 1 of those 'great' wins
Yeah he has about 10+ good wins imo...and 5-6 'great' wins if you want to term it that...great fighter, great career...an ATG at MW...that's pretty clear I think..... If a great win is a dominant win over another prime great fighter...I would say GGG has quite a few tbh.....
https://www.boxingscene.com/forums/s...821123&page=20
creates a thread misquoting Steve Weisfeld.....
Boxing1013 attempted to remove defence, ring generalship, and effective aggression, as official scoring criteria..... to justify why he thinks Golovkin beat Canelo in their rematch..... but, had NO IDEA that Steve Weisfeld was AN OFFICIAL JUDGE at the Canelo/Golovkin rematch..... and Weisfeld scored that fight for Canelo looool

Official letter from Team Dervy - they wanted the fight, but not on May 5th from whatever I've read...in the lead up to the actual fight it became clear that 1 month was not enough time for another 'top' fighter to train and negotiate money...I remember reading an article or two to that affect with regards to Andrade and Dervy.
With all due respect man...the 2nd article is almost a month after GGG-Vanes happened, and right before the IBF had to make the decision to strip GGG lol...of course both sides were going to be slinging whatever they could at each other to try and make their case...there are 3 sides to every story, as they say.
Again that letter that Connolly referenced...that I posted there...there is no reference to Dervy wanting to come in on May 5th...they wanted the fight obviously, but not on those terms.
Yeah if GGG-Canelo 2 happened in May...then I guess Dervy would have been next...but in any event I can't be mad at a guy (who had already been strung out in recent negotiations with Canelo and Jacobs, and in boxing terms was an old man at 35+ years old) who decided to take on a late replacement to save the date, and then decide to take on his biggest rival in a money/grudge/legacy fight a few months later.Comment

That's because a purse bid "usually" dictates 35% to the mando...and you're out of your mind if you think SD deserves 35% of a canelo purse. I don't blame Canelo honestly...you can say its the rules, but it's not a fair rule and SD suffered for trying to play his cards like an idiot. Canelo, Pac, and Floyd all brought high income to fights... then never gave 35% splits to people afaik. People took 3-5 mil and were happy because they knew they didn't make it a "mega fight". From what's reported SD was offered 5.5 mil wanted 7 mil and Canelo's team said no. That being said if he doesn't make 7 million to fight GGG he looks like a duck and/or idiot because he's not some important figure in the division to demand 7 million.
Other fighters not in PBC started demanded PBC type money even though it made 0 economic sense to the promoter. This is why Garcia left Top Rank. Now it is happening in DAZN. No way in hell does SD deserve $5.5 million let alone $7 million. Canelo brings in more money than GGG so why the hell would anyone pay SD $5.5 or $7 million to fight GGG.
I have a feeling PBC is pushing SD to do this. I think PBC is trying to isolate Canelo. Get him stripped of his titles, take away any opponents he may face by pricing themselves out. If PBC can't have Canelo then they will try and destroy Canelo and GB. DAZN's absolute incompetency is actually helping PBC achieve this goal.Comment

No they did it to give Pvssy-g an easier road to a belt to make the Nelo fight again but Nelo should say NO, he will not fight Pvssy-g ever again.Comment

This IBF is a ****** joke in the sport.
They're wasting people's time by complicating things.
Derevyanchenko was already defeated by Jacobs,
whom GGG and Canelo already dismantled.
Fans want to see Derevy against guys like Charlo, Lemieux, Andrade, Brant, Murata, etc...
Forget about Canelo and GGG...
Let these 2nd/3rd tier fighters fight each other first before pitting them against the top 2..Comment

So his team said that he wanted to fight on the 5th. Loffler never sent a contract to them for the 5th. But you are hanging your hat a letter to the IBF that doesn't say that they wanted to fight Golovkin on the 5th. For them the only thing that matters was that they were his next Golovkin wasn't fighting Alvarez.
Whether or not SD would have fought on May 5th is an opinion ya know...based on what I've seen, both with that negotiation and with other SD negotiations, I personally don't think he would have taken the fight on May 5th.
And even if he would have I don't blame GGG and his team for taking on Vanes instead...again I think if G did fight SD then all the people giving G flack now would say he was ducking Andrade instead...if people really want to hate they can find a reason ya know...I just try to treat every situation and fighter objectively and go from there.Comment
