Lol, sad when this could have very well happened. But honestly, Skipper is legit so no surprise he got something in writing, just didn't figure that Canelo agreed to what GBP apparently agreed to.

And if that agreement they made with Canelo before signing GGG had nothing in it about a third fight, Canelo cannot be held to something that he was not a part of. So GGG may have to sue DAZN, and then or at the same time, DAZN will have to sue GBP. It will be fun to watch, like 3 hyenas in a fight at the same time, turn up a plume of dust and then seeing what is left when the dust settles. It will be great entertainment for everyone, including Canelo who will be amused like the rest of us.
Networks really can't sign deals guaranteeing a fighter a certain fight. You can't put it in a fighter's contract and DAZN was well aware of that and that's why they went around it by getting GBP to agree to it and not Canelo himself. But the same would apply for GGG. He couldn't have had it in his contract either...Or you would think right? So what exact legal action is he taking now? Feels like something was either misstated in that article or some details are missing.

My perspective is: Canelo was game to help GBP get their side deal with the network. After all, they are all in it to make money for each other, like a team. Where GBP, probably Gomez, went wrong is to promise a 3rd GGG fight without Canelo's knowledge or consent. That's a foul.

Hopefully, they resolve it amicably, without a GGG fight. I don't wanna see a 3rd fight.

I think the way they got around it was promising GGG a middleweight title fight. At the time Canelo had 3 of the 4 belts and Andrade had 1. So the MW title fight implied it was Canelo. The article says the letter sent to DAZN by GGG said to enforce his title fight.

So then in that case, could DAZN not have enforced the Andrade fight? Like how would DAZN be able to enforce Canelo in particular? I don't know, but I would love to get more details.

DAZN could easily give golovkin his required title shot. Andrade has publicly stated he's looking to fight Golovkin.
Truth is, Golovkin doesn't want that fight

So the plan now is ibf strips Nelo, ibf give golovkin an easier road to a title (ibf) to then set up Nelo/golovkin 3. Only D-Chencko can put a wrench in that plan but I don't rate him higher than golovkin OR Nelo says NO, no matter what.

Why should Canelo help that Russian bum? I thought Triple L was a household name? Guess not. Stick to using your EBT card to watch his fights. Phuckin bum.
