  • Come on. Canelo was still a baby and on the come up. He also was drained at that catchweight.

Thurman was at his physical prime and experienced as a champion and the number one welterweight at the time.

Big Dunn flouds biggest fan said without cw he don't even know if Floyd wouldve won. Of course Pac s wins greater. And if you want to compare some of floyuds wins against Pac s wins why choose a cw win?

      • Neither affects their legacy much other than Floyd's win after draining Canelo makes him look bad. Manny's win at age 40 over a diminished (through no fault of Pac's) Thurman makes him look good.

Not sure how thurman win can't effect Pac s legacy? It was a great win. Floyd s wasnt.
Not sure thurman was diminished as he looked pretty good against pac

I thought Thurman looked more like the Thurman who squeaked out a win over Josesito Lopez than he looked like the Thurman from 2 years before who defeated Garcia and Porter. He didn't look bad exactly, just not as good.

on further reflection: "Squeaked by" may have been an overstatement.

Thurman at his weight, Canelo drained to death.

Let's see Mayweather get in a ring with Thurman at this age, Thurman by KO right now.

Floyd always fought with advantages created for him, even the refs would step in if someone was hitting and creating any kind of danger for Floyd. Sorry, but the state boxing is in today with all the cherrypicking and BS is because they let this guy abuse of it.
Lol. No fkn way Thurman ko's Floyd. Between, Thurman, Spence and Crawford, Thurman was the weakest. Pac cherry picked his way to the title.

General consensus was thurman looked good and if you hadn't seen the lopez fight we'd be none the wiser.
Pac was even surprised how good thurman fought. But thurman wasn't suprised if you listen to him talk about what he was going to do to pac

                  • Sadly, I have to pick GrandPac's win because Thurman was in his prime and had wins against legit opponents at the time of the fight... Canelo was the opposite when TBE (not The Best Ever) fought him...

at the time I wrote it and still, I do believe what I am saying. Tell your hero to man up and fight someone with a pulse for once in his life and we will see.
