I say Floyd vs Canelo because no one has ever come close in defeating Canelo Alvarez since. In addition, he has leaped several weight classes since that time and has won many more titles during that process too and yet remains undefeated. He is not the top draw in boxing for nothing.

      That is a good point.

Nobody is going to defeat Thurman under those circumstances ever again. So nobodies win will be better than Pacs over thurmans.
The thing is that Canelo obviously did get better but you can't deny that as his resume grows, the way Floyd took him apart almost effortlessly seems be more surprising after each Canelo win. Even if he got probably 3 gifts and is most likely a ped cheat.

I probably spent too long thinking about this, however let's try putting it another way. Would 23 year old Canelo have beaten the Thurman that fought Pac?

                Had Thurman not been inactive

                Pac wouldn't have fought him
And if he did fight an active Thurman, the outcome may have been different.

He was active, he just fought right before him.

So your words are completely false. Why don’t you go watch the fight yourself before making false claims.

And what MORON said Canelo hasn’t come close to losing since Mayweather?

Lmao you posters really have no life and no boxing intelligence. This guy probably started watching after Fielding, lol.

                  Canelo arguably lost to:
                  GGG 1
                  Erislandy Lara
Miguel Cotto was a terribly close fight, which shows that even at that point Canelo was still not in his full prime. Cotto was already over the hill and Canelo couldn’t lay him down.

PAC TKO’d dat n!66@ in his prime! Mayweather didn’t fight Cotto until 3 years later!

                  Current Thurman WHOOPS green Nelo!

So you admit that he was active by acknowledging his fight prior to Manny in which Thurman won against Josesito.
Glad to know you finally acknowledge some truth and stop with your excuses, lies, false narratives, etc.
