There has always been competition in boxing. This is nothing new. I was just listening to Boxing Esq's podcast the other day & they were saying how all the small promoters got put outta business during the big 1950's TV era of boxing. Everything has its highs & lows. This is no different. In 5-10 years people will be saying how they wish there was more boxing they had access to or it sucks today cuz all the boxing is on one place, but they are charging too much or some such bs. Its all a cycle. Nothing is gonna destroy boxing that isn't structural to the level of CTE becoming more of a problem or if we get too ***** & PC the act of physical violence might have a bad impact on boxing. But there is nothing bad long term thats a threat to boxing at the moment let alone a f#cking streaming platform. This is getting to be a silly & tired discussion.

You should listen to Hebert Goldman on the latest episode of the Boxing Esq Podcast talk about the history of boxing or read some old AJ Liebling writings. There were problems with how that worked back in the day to.

Funny thing with hearing Goldman talk about how back in the day the new invention of the TV used boxing at first to gain popularity & a loyal audience & then ditched boxing makes me think there could be a repeat of that with DAZN in the future. I'm definitely not in the camp of DAZN is gonna go broke any day now as some here are, but I'm also not thinking that DAZN is the future for boxing either. DAZN could easily ditch the sport just like TV did back in the day when they get more things going on.

DAZN destroyed my $99 LOL 😂

I think it will be worth it. It’s a new model that ppl not giving much love to

Content towards fights needs to improve. Commentary is awful. I’ll give them some time

If you're a DAZN executive and you're being restricted to provide a decent opponent for Golovkin just because it might jeopardize the so-called trilogy, then that's terrible.

DAZN should be sending offers to Charlo for GGG. Forget the damn trilogy.

With all the freaking money they have,
they can't make their leading stars fight the guys
fans want to see, other than a ****** trilogy,
which fans have already seen twice.

DAZN needs to do something revolutionary,
              something unique.
Can they at least try to make Andrade vs Charlo?

Boxing was ruined long before DAZN entered the picture.

Does DAZN even have any freaking plan B, C, D, E or what?
They can't move on without Canelo vs Golovkin trilogy?

Skipper is not the right man for the job. DAZN needs someone that value money, not just give it away like it's nothing.

It isn't DAZN's fault. They are entering a market that has already been polluted by the twin cancers of Bob Arum and Al Haymon. There isn't much that they can do to make things right.
