well if DAZN is sending an offer it's obvious Charlo has to cross the street. Crossing the street doesn't mean the fighter is permanently removed from his previous hosting, Showtime. A single or multi-fight deal is no different than previous PBC fighters having fought elsewhere only to return back to their normal location.

The point of exclusivity is to grow or maintain retention for a certain network. We don't know how Espinoza and Haymon roll behind closed doors. It could very well be that Espinoza tells Haymon that if Wilder were to fight on another platform then they'd reevaluate agreements.

The point doe is fans need to know who wants the fight.
DAZN needs to specify who they have in mind for Charlo, for example.
Stop this two-fight deals like the Breazeale/AJ for Wilder nonsense.
Even that takes time, possibly a year, which makes PBC fighters homesick.
Do one fight at a time.
Fans can't accuse fighters of ducking until offers are officially made.

Corrupt organizations like the WBC (and the other alphabets) are what make boxing a joke and a fringe sport in the US.
Decisions like the WBC making Alvarez a "Franchise Champ" are terrible for the sport.
Imagine if the NBA made Lebron James a "Franchise Champ"? What a joke!
How can the WBC, which is supposed to make the rules, have a business relationship with Avarez?

Kov is getting really bad advice. How does he turn down a fight against the biggest star in boxing. He is 2 divisions higher, taller, harder puncher, he has all the advantages. And he will be making more than he made in 2 Ward fights. 15 yrs ago a fighter would jump at the chance. In boxing it used to be a fighter seeking out that one big payday versus a big star. Nowadays fighters purposely price themselves out and seem not to care about fighting the biggest star in the sport and making a ton of money. Some fighters are ****** and some are just blind in their allegiance to their promoter/manager.

It is as if boxing lives in bizarro world. Look what happened to Wilder. He was demanding ridiculous amounts of money for Joshua. In reality he was offered a huge sum of money, more than he was worth and he still turned it down. Now Wilder will never see half that amount and for sure not the amount he demanded now that Joshua is spoiled goods. What a ****** decision. That is the kind of decision in which you fire your whole team, but Wilder lives in fantasyland. it is as if all of PBC's fighters believe they will be the next Mayweather and they all deserve Mayweather money. As for DAZN they are overpaying GGG, Fourteen million to fight Rolls. That has to be a record in all of boxing history. Pure insanity!

In Wilder's case he not only turned down huge money,
but the 3 titles that were on the line.
Ruiz is now in possession of them and stands to make more retirement money as a result.
Titles don't even mean anything now in boxing.
