Duva is a promoter, not a manager.
I don't hear Duva demanding anything.
It's Kov's manager, Egis Klimas, who wants $12 million.
I've never seen Kov pricing himself out in any of his fights.
Somehow it happens when DAZN is in the forefront.

The issue of boxers pricing themselves out of fights has gotten even worse in recent years. Some fighters are such ****ing divas.

Why the hell should GGG take 15 million and let Canelo make 4 times that much when he was the champion and they were fighting for his titles?????? Fuc the arrogant Oscar and Canelo. GGG demanded fair pay and he got a hell of a lot more than 15 million and he got damn near the same money as Canelo in the 2nd fight as well he should. You are just a GGG hater and a Canelo worshiper so you ******ly think GGG should have taken 15million and said thank you. Those GGG-Canelo fights were huge money makers because of both boxers, not just Canelo. A Canelo fight against any other boxer doesn't even come close to making that kind of money.

A bigger guy 3 divisions heavier is the one demanding huge money?

Canelo even surpassed Mayweather, the PPV king, now,
whose opponents averaged only $1 mil in purses, many times over.
              What in Neptune is happening?

Why would anyone fight the top guns now for less than $5 mil?
Wilder vs Joshua wasn't made because of money.
Titles didn't even mean anything. It's terrible.

I don't even know where to begin.
Kovalev has every right to ask 12 million. Jacobs got that much. They would be fighting for Kovalev's title. Canelo is the guy who is desperate to fight Kovalev to avoid fighting GGG. He wants and needs the fight more than Kovalev. Let cheap Oscar and Goldenboy give Kovalev what he is asking or go fight Andrade like Canelo told GGG to do. How the hell do you have Canelo moving up three weight classes???? He weighed in at a hard trim 168 pounds to win his pretend 168 pound title by beating Fielding late last year. Why would Kovalev being bigger than Canelo have anything to do with Kovalev's asking price? The Kovalev vs Canelo is just one fight and if it does not happen it has no overall effect on boxing. DAZN isn't hurting boxing in my opinion. They are helping boxing. I enjoy DAZN.

He nearly stopped Wilder in their 1st match. Also, when he fought the worst version of Fury, Wilder needed trash score cards just to get a draw, so imagine what Fury at 100% would do. The bottom line is, marinating fights is bullshit in general, and the heavyweight division is the worst weight division to do that in.

Dazn over paid getting in. Now that they see boxing is not profitable for them due to the excessive Matchroom and a Canelo contracts, this is the issue.

Dazn is a money mark for fighters. Now they can’t pay that much because fiscally it has been a disaster.

Now they aren’t willing to pay and can’t make the fights.

                  AJ Ruiz 2 - stalled
                  Canelo September fight - nothing

They got nothing and blew the budget. No one will fight on Dazn unless it’s triple their average pay. And Dazn is the morons who set that precedent.

Dazn is one of the ******est ran businesses ever known to business.

Fighters cherry picking cans to keep their 0 intact or at least not to lose twice is what is hurting boxing.
