Rules are rules and the rules are what I was talking about. How fighters handle moving up and down in weight is a different subject.I was the main person saying this on the board when Spence fought Mikey and even still, about 20 times.
But aside from that...
Name me some fights where a guy fought at his highest weight class, for instance Canelo at 168 vs Fielding, and then GOING DOWN to 164 as you say, from an even bigger fighter than Fielding such as Kovalev at LHW.
YOu KNOW the usual practice would be for Canelo to CAP at lets say 169 against Kovalev NOT 164.
Stop playing the fool. Waiting for your list of fightsComment

Everybody knows the rules we're talking about consistency. You want to be consistent? OK. I'll play your game. BJS said he can still make 160lbs and fought at 178lbs right after his scandal from 160lbs...
Would BJS fight Yarde at a 164lb catchweight for a LHW title since you illustrate hypotheticals that Canelo would fight Kovalev at 164 for a LHW title?
You guys are ret@rded. I don't like BJS but I don't go full ret@rd on the sport like yall hatin on CaneloLast edited by Thuglife Nelo; 07-12-2019, 01:03 PM.Comment

Rules are nothing if not rational and logical. You are anything but rational and logical, as you are proving now.Everybody knows the rules we're talking about consistency. You want to be consistent? Do yourself a favour and don't even try to think about stuff like rules.Comment

Fights at catchweights should ALWAYS be EXHIBITIONS.
They should never count towards a title. No sactioning body should allow it to count. It undermines everything.
You think you better than a LHW, you either fight him at LHW or it's an exhibition.
Catchweights = "I could beat them if they were smaller" WTF?
If he's too big then don't fight him.Comment

Yeah Josh Taylor should fight Julian Williams at a 147lb catchweight and deem it a Super Welterweight fight.
You guys are ret@rded.
Because “it’s the rules.” LolComment

I disagree. Super milddle limit is 168 and light heavy is 175. A catchweight at 170 or172 could still be for a light heavyweight title. Is it a little shady? Sure but as long as you are above the lower weight limit and right at or below the current one then it can be for a title. The solution is to not accept the clause but if it is a big money offer a lot of dudes take the payday. Can't blame them!Fights at catchweights should ALWAYS be EXHIBITIONS.
