I'm all in on that one. I'll get there for sure it if happens.
Otherwise, have it in Mexico City in front of 100,000 crazed fans. And at the altitude of 7,300' AJ will gas even sooner than he usually does. He'll be gassed but the 3rd round.Comment

AJ got embarrassed so bad he quit in the ring last time he left the UK to fight.
I doubt AJ will have the balls to venture outside the UK.
Look for excuses to start from Eddie Hearn. Fake injury probably the most obvious one...Comment

Your posts or anything that you say will become worthless if this continues for much longer, and the mods will have to look into you guys.
I never understood why people come here to have a virtual fight over two other men. It's ******, guys. Let's show some respect to one another even if we disagree.
Kids read NSB as well.Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 07-11-2019, 09:56 PM.Comment

I think BigStomps is a Mexican. What does his nationality have to do with anything? Why are you two insulting each other?

Lets not be short sided. If your a promoter you are looking at a country with a turn key boxing public knowlegable and willing to spend disposable income. Mexican fans might not be used to the heavyweight being the premier division, but any smart individual can see that Ruiz is manna from heaven.
Joshua, is not the cash cow in the future and nobody seems to get that. If he wins this fight things change again, but if he does not the potential market for Ruiz is mind blowing. Ruiz' job is to get himself in the best shape of his life and find a venue where he will not be set up by foul judging. Joshua is a draw and will outdraw Ruiz if he wins...BUT if Ruiz wins this next fight? the potential drawing power for Ruiz I believe would easily eclipse joshua.
Mexico has about twice the population of Great Britain, and there are about 33 million mexicans in the states, which is about half the population of Britain. Mexico has a large fanbase for boxing, much more so than Britain. Given this information, as a promoter, wouldn't you be trying to find a way to get Ruiz past Joshua? I know I would!
So this is what the promoters are looking at. Its not about what Joshua has drawn, it is about the potential draw and in that regard Ruiz winning this fight would be an incredible windfall.Comment
