If were him I'd be humble , train hard and just do what he did before only better , Hearn may be a lot of things but the re match is tied up so tight even the ***s would be proud of himComment

Good for Ruiz. He's earned the right to pull this card with Joshua. He faced him and convincingly whooped his ass. He's not saying this after getting a gift, a title handed to him or controversial scorecards like some other guys do when they get a belt. He won in dominant fashion. You want your belt back, you follow the champs rules.Comment

Hearns "success" is largely attributable to the actions of two other men (AJ, his father). All Hearn has done is attach his name to both men and be a overpaid hype man.
If he conducted himself with more class acted like an English gentleman then Hearn would be on better ground with fans.
Haymond has Hearn by the balls. Even if AJ beats Ruiz, Wilder will take the belts from AJ. Ruiz/AJ 2 will be another war and there is no guarantee a third fight wont be required by fans if AJ eeks out a decision in in fashion.
Anything short of AJ "destroying" (no pun intended) AR and a trilogy may be needed to determine who's the better man. 2-3 wars with AR wont leave AJ in the best shape to deal with Wilder.
Unless Ortiz tags Wilder I dont see Fury having any brutal wars with Wilder, meaning Wilder will come to the fight relatively fresh while AJ will have had to take heavy damage to get his belts and respect back.
As far as AR's A-side claims. He's effing correct. He's the most popular boxer in the world right now. The Latino fan base is >>>>>> the UK. Andy is popular in Mexico and the US. Thats a half a billion people.
People in the UK arent gonna pay more than their usual (£20) ppv fee to see a once defeated AJ who was pummelled in his last fight. So there isnt any extra money in the UK than usual.Comment

I think we all know that he is not the A-side, and that is nothing against him as a fighter.
Being the A-side doesn't necessarily come with being the champ, it doesnt require you to be the better fighter, it doesnt mean you have done more and are deserving. The primary aspect to being the A-side is being more popular and having more of a dedicated fan base.
Lets be honest, money dictates a lot of things in this sport that should be left up to the fairness of competition; and since being popular brings in the money being the "A-Side" can impact certain things related to the outcome. Unfortunately for Ruiz, he is simply not popular enough to be the A-Side here.
Joshua is still probably the 2nd or 3rd most popular fighter in the world right now. And thus can still lay claim to being the 'A-Side'.Comment

If this is true, Hearn is a bigger scumbag than I initially thought.
Then again, this fat fu.kk would say anything for attention until he gets sparked out in Dec. This is what happens you have a shi.tty promoter who lives vicariously through his boxer rather than focus on doing his job.Comment
