for someone who was handed two titles outside the ring, thats a bold statement.

If I was handed 2 titles for not throwing a punch, I'd think it was my birthday and Christmas.

None of the guys you mentioned got such treatment, Sturm got one if I am not wrong.

Clearly it would have been better for his profile and his bank balance had Sturm and Canelo agreed to fight him rather than hand over their titles.

Why did Canelo fans have to become almost the exact same thing as Mayweather fans?
I guess casuals and deluded fans never change.

          ah no.

he'd have losses earlier in his career, lost his undefeated record on which his rep stood, and no big fights with canelo later so no.

So they were doing him a favour when they refused to fight him? Out of the goodness of their hearts?

            Okay, gotcha.

Wow, GGG is now being credited with imaginary wins on an imaginary record.

Only GGG sycophants give GGG credit for things that actually never happened.

                  Not at all.

Win or lose, we'd have a clearer picture if where he stands as a fighter and less speculation.

I personally think he he had a good chance of winning those fights and the but that's just my opinion.

The question is, why wouldn't those guys fight him?

My point is when people rightfully criticize GGG's record on comes along GGG fans claiming he (allegedly) tried to fight this guy or that guy, but said fights never happened. Yet, GGG fans claim he deserves the same kind of credit for fights he (allegedly) tried to make with the fights he actually had.

Sturm might be a pointless little shyt but knock him cos GGG has matched his defences record.
