Now, If Canelo fights Kovalev at 175, I would give Canelo the clear nod and say it's the better and more riskier matchup. But that extra 3 pounds is HUGE difference for big fighters like that. Kovalev has fought at 175 his whole career. To ask him to cut down an extra 3 lbs at 35 years old, you might as well just ask him to hand over his belt cause he'll have no chance at all.
You do realize that canelo would be at a much much bigger disadvantage just off size alone at anything above 172? Hes 5'7.5" ffs,and surely by now you'd realize that Canelo just fought Jacobs at his absolute best moment(jacobs way better than boringdrade) & he surely will fight the winner of Andrade/ggg if ggg finds his nuts?

Although they would never admit it they know he is damn good. Average fighters are not worth serious hate. They hate the idea of a GGG vs Canelo rematch because they know he might win it. Good fighters always get a good deal of hate. Spence and Crawford are good examples of this.

I think ggg fans need to realize that (most?)canelo fans have a ton of respect for gggs skillset,

I have just been saying exactly the title of this post for many years.

Imagine a World where ggg didn't sit around waiting for canelo & how great his resume might be by now,I been saying as well as others that its asanine gggs team treats his career like hes a dainty flower, when in reality ggg has/had the skills to have 5x better resume if he was merely willing to sacrifice & not chase money while hedging his bets
hes living in your head rent free.

Ggg fans are so pitiful sometimes they actually resort to discrediting a fighter who at 9 yrs younger age has already accomplished 10x the amount & taken 100x the risks willingly without being forced like ggg was v jacobs.

Ggg is an absolute pssy who has forced his fans to do mental gymnastics to justify every single thing hes gone back on that he once claimed made him better than others, like when he was going on & on about dragging a welter up155 was a disgrace to boxing, weeks before dragging up brook to 160.

Now he dragged up a literal brick layer(ranked 117th @ the time) to a catchweight fight him & his fans used to say was disgrace to Boxing. He dropped his IBF belt because "its business decision not to fight dangerous fighter without being paid a lot" after him & his fans claiming businessman ginger nuts disgraced boxing yet as I said from day 1 nelo knew it only mattered that hed leave the ring with his beltshe wins belts in the ring ggina surrenders them after being gifted vacant belts by committee.
Yeah it's unbelievable because if he gets what he wants there are no risks.

You are doing some serious GGG hating and Canelo praising based on your bullsht. GGG beat Jacobs and knocked him on his ass. A much better Jacobs than the Jacobs Canelo fought. GGG didn't worry about a morning weigh in and he went to Jacobs's home state to beat him. Canelo needed his Vegas edge and a morning weigh in. You are giving Canelo all this praise for stuff he has not done and may never do. Learn the difference between talking about a fight and actually fighting that fight. Canelo's giant risk so far in a heavier weight class is fighting that lousy Fielding and making sure the morning weigh in was in place. Wow. Some risk taker. What does Canelo's height have to do with anything? Boxing is weight classes not height classes. If Canelo wants a challenge then fight GGG in New York and see how that goes.
