GGG took 0 risks in his career.

Let that sink in. None, nada, absolutely no risks.

Mr 154-168 turned out to be false. Neve moved up or moved down to face a top guy.

Never tried to make any concessions in getting big fights either.

    This is the people's champ????

Oh you mean canelo is literally in the process of making concession s to take even more unbelievable risks than he always has to make yet another big fight in another weight class?

Ggg fans are so pitiful sometimes they actually resort to discrediting a fighter who at 9 yrs younger age has already accomplished 10x the amount & taken 100x the risks willingly without being forced like ggg was v jacobs.

Ggg is an absolute pssy who has forced his fans to do mental gymnastics to justify every single thing hes gone back on that he once claimed made him better than others, like when he was going on & on about dragging a welter up155 was a disgrace to boxing, weeks before dragging up brook to 160.

Now he dragged up a literal brick layer(ranked 117th @ the time) to a catchweight fight him & his fans used to say was disgrace to Boxing. He dropped his IBF belt because "its business decision not to fight dangerous fighter without being paid a lot" after him & his fans claiming businessman ginger nuts disgraced boxing yet as I said from day 1 nelo knew it only mattered that hed leave the ring with his beltshe wins belts in the ring ggina surrenders them after being gifted vacant belts by committee.

GGG offered to fight Ward at 164, people ripped him for it. Justifiably so.

Are those same people going to rip Canelo for asking Kovalev to fight below 175?

There's no risk at all for Canelo in fighting Kovalev at let's say 172. He's already a fighter who admits he walks well over 190 lbs. He'll be severely weight drained and won't be able to take a punch.

        Same energy!

So who should ggg face if nelo goes another direction? Who should nelo face if not ggg? I think it speaks volumes about how good nelo is that you & others think just because a fighter rehydrates to high 170s from mw that it suddenly means they are not taking the most massive risk by going up to 170s fight vs the most dangerous puncher with the best pedigree & massive height/reach advantage who also has the belt.

At what point do you hold ggg to the same standards? At what point is ggg expected to move up to full 175 vs kovalev(not just say he was willing, but actualley move up & take a risk vs elites)?(ggs bigger than canelo too)

Fuc you. you are an ass kissing hero worshiping good fighter hating pos. All you ever do is attack GGG, Crawford and Pacquiao while over praising your heros Canelo and Mayweather. If GGG is so bad why must you tell the world about it every day? Shouldn't everybody know it already without you spouting all your insane hate. Your hero Canelo refused to fight him until he got old. He even gave up his WBC belt rather than fight him for it. Even now Canelo is scared to give the old man a rematch. He fought every middleweight that would agree to fight him and ducked nobody but Cotto, Saunders, Martinez and for a while Canelo all ducked him. He took risks every time he defended his title but what would you know about that. You are just a hater of quality fighters like Pacquiao, Crawford and GGG. That's all you are good for is tearing good fighters down. You don't think fighting top fighters like Jacobs, Canelo, Lemieux, Murray, Macklin and many more top 10 world rated middleweights is a risk? That just shows what an ignorant fool you are.

If GGG fights Andrade at 160 that's a way bigger risk and better fight than Canelo fighting Kovalev at 172.

Now, If Canelo fights Kovalev at 175, I would give Canelo the clear nod and say it's the better and more riskier matchup. But that extra 3 pounds is HUGE difference for big fighters like that. Kovalev has fought at 175 his whole career. To ask him to cut down an extra 3 lbs at 35 years old, you might as well just ask him to hand over his belt cause he'll have no chance at all.

I love the back and forth on here, ggg fans will soon throw in the towel. Keep in mind male g string defenders that ggg as a 20 something year old ameture got so comfortable bullying 16 year olds that once he finally decided to be a man and transfer over to pro he decided to continue fighting only the easiest opponents out there. Yes fighters that posed no threat whatsoever. You can dress it up however you want but remember your Guy ggg was already considered an ATG and Canelo was supposed to be an extremely easy fight but his usual tactics were completely nutralized and after that fight which was never his official test because remember he was considered an all time great so he was meant to mow right thru little Canelo and go on to greater oponnents. Yes don’t forget those made up rumors that he had Heavyweight KO power, enough to beat up kovalev.
                  REMEMBER GOLOVKIN....

Cut the crap everyone here is consumed enough about boxing that we spend time discussing it online.

I think ggg fans need to realize that (most?)canelo fans have a ton of respect for gggs skillset,

I have just been saying exactly the title of this post for many years.

Imagine a World where ggg didn't sit around waiting for canelo & how great his resume might be by now,I been saying as well as others that its asanine gggs team treats his career like hes a dainty flower, when in reality ggg has/had the skills to have 5x better resume if he was merely willing to sacrifice & not chase money while hedging his bets
