Hearn better be more careful talking to DLH in such a rude manner...Oscar may come at him with his kitchen utensils.

Yeah can’t like the n-word be in charge of boxing in the USA now can we....our grandfathers would roll over in their graves....Give it time man, I dunno why Americans hate him soo much, aside from being British, he does what Golden Boy does, brings overseas (or in Golden Boys case Mexicans and SA’s) and makes fights. The guy is pretty frank and straight talking but somehow everything he says gets twisted. If you don’t have these guys around you just resign yourself to Haymon running, or should I say, ruining the game. That guy does not care at all about fans, he doesn’t care about good match ups, it’s just stats on how much each fighter can deliver him in dollars. If you want the whole sport to be that, then yeah let’s just hand Haymon the sport on platter, it’s be atrocious, but hey, maybe it’s the American way.Comment

As would most. However for Charlo the step up is Jacobs Golovkin or Alvarez. The latter two, especially Golovkin have declined. For the other Charlo, Harrison was a good scrap and he was supposed to unify with Hurd next. Now we get rematch and then hopefully unification. I just can't understand how GGG can say bum or Alvarez and thats ok but PBC fighters can't take that approach. Most of the complaints come from brits and Matchroom fans. I am not always thrilled with PBC cards but that goes for every promoter. Haymon looks out for his "top" fighters probably more than any promoter but that sometimes prevents the best fights. There is a fine line especially in boxing. Would love to see the Charlo's step up the competition. Not totally Haymon's fault but it is what it is!Comment

You know full well why they hate him so much but they’ll never admit it. What does haymon and PBC even have to do with his thread....that’s how much they are obsessed with himNot understanding the broad generalization wrt Haymon and PBC. Seems that over the last 3 years PBC has given the fans more competitive fights than any other outfit. Did Haymon protect Mickey, Mell Charlo, Hurd, Porter, Pacman, Thurman? Did he protect Ruiz from Joshua? Haymon doesn't care about boxing or boxing fans yet he gives fans free boxing and puts more money in the fighters pockets wear it belongs.Comment

Agreed, the brits absolutely hate haymon and it’s purely out of their strong sense of entitlement....they see haymon and are offended hat a man of his persuasion is in charge. You are talking about the most colonial/imperialist nation in historyMost of the complaints come from brits and Matchroom fans. I am not always thrilled with PBC cards but that goes for every promoter. Haymon looks out for his "top" fighters probably more than any promoter but that sometimes prevents the best fights. Did I mention the word horrible? I attend many fights by many promoters. The last two being STAR boxing. Neither card was spectacular but they are a smaller outfit. Canelo and GGG? What do they have to do with my comments? I don't get in to the whole ducking argument. Sometimes there are roadblocks that fans do not know about. Who are the Charlo's supposed to fight? Top guys, just like any name guys should do. In the last two years I have attended cards by Top Rank, Dibella, PBC, Matchroom, etc. Some good, some not so good. You sound like a PBC flunkie! PBC cards as a whole are no better nor worse than others!Interesting. My question......who is charlo supposed to fight to "step up the competition??" We have canelo not even mentioning his name, and ggg already blatantly ducked him. Why isnt anyone calling ggg out for ducking charlo and making excuses as to why charlo doesnt "deserve" to fight ggg??? Also.......what horrible pbc cards did haymon put on this year???? Just curious.Comment

My point is that Haymon tries to get his guys the most money with the least risk. Very noble actually!Comment

As a matter of fact, the shit talk, if you can all it that, was started by Oscar, not Eddie!I'm not even talking about that. Obviously your competition isn't looking out for you. That is what is it & outta Eddie's hands.
What I am saying is Eddie isn't doing HIMSELF any favors with how he conducts himself with the gossipy, snarkiness & sh^t talking people he ultimately wishes he could do business with. That breeds more contention & drifting away from wanting to do business with you. If you want & need to work with more people you don't operate like this.
All Hearn did was give an honest answer to a question put to him in an interview, which is part of his job at DAZN. And it's not like he gave away any big secret by saying DAZN want Canelo to fight GGG next, but Canelo has other ideas, that's common knowledge.
Oscar lashed out on twitter, which is what he always does when he's under pressure, and Eddie laughed it off, which is what he always does. People take this kind of crap way too seriously.Comment

A lady of Haymon's "persuasion"
