Eddie Hearn needs to remember that he was given 1 billion dollars and he couldn't deliver DAZN USA. Oscar and Golden Boy came in to save DAZN USA and even I have a subscription now.

For the most part, Matchroom cards in the USA has not been that good so far

Being free doesn't justify their horrible cards and mismatches.

These promoters and networks need to stop the bs and match Canelo and Golovkin with each other one more time in the future, and also fight Andrade, Charlo and Saunders. The super middleweights like Smith and Benavidez can also get in the mix.

Haymon does try and protect his fighters and at times that could be a good thing. The problem lies when the best fights are not being made, the fans suffer. This is not all on PBC. These promoters need to work together and stage the best, most competitive shows. Personally I find nothing wrong with a card loaded with prospects. I have tickets for the 7/13 Newark N.J card featuring Shakur Stevenson and I am looking forward to it. Hopefully the rest of this year and early next we will see some great matchups. They are out there, they just need to be made. Spence/Crawford anyone?

PBC shows are usually free. They aren't charging me a monthly subscription like DAZN.

But this thread is about Hearn vs De La Hoya.

The quality of Matchroom's DAZN cards is relevant to that discussion. PBC's crap cards aren't relevant.

I said all along that Haymon won’t let those titles out of the US, he’s probably be weighing up the legal and settlement costs of breaking the rematch clause and figures its worth it, classic Haymon. Much as it is kind funny it’s bad for the sport if contracts get screwed around like that, I wouldn’t want to see AJ frozen out completely, we want to see him fight Wilder and Fury or their careers lose credibility.

Give it time man, I dunno why Americans hate him soo much, aside from being British, he does what Golden Boy does, brings overseas (or in Golden Boys case Mexicans and SA’s) and makes fights. The guy is pretty frank and straight talking but somehow everything he says gets twisted. If you don’t have these guys around you just resign yourself to Haymon running, or should I say, ruining the game. That guy does not care at all about fans, he doesn’t care about good match ups, it’s just stats on how much each fighter can deliver him in dollars. If you want the whole sport to be that, then yeah let’s just hand Haymon the sport on platter, it’s be atrocious, but hey, maybe it’s the American way.

Damn near cries when he gets called out on his own bs a lil too hard for his liking. I liked how Eddie operated in the UK when more things were under his control. In the US when he has less sh^t going his way he doesn't handle it well & always has these weird ass exchanges with people that aren't doing him any favors in making big fights & signing more US guys.
You think those people would be doing him any favors if he was super duper nice to them? It's not dating, it's business.
