Not the guy that lost to Robin Reid and ducked Glen Johnson 3x.

Chris Eubank, Robin Reid, Byron Mitchell when he was good, Mario Veit when he was good, Jeff Lacy at his peak, Mikkel Kesser too, then Bernard Hopkins who was still very good and a fading but then still high level opponent Roy Jones Jr. Not the best of course but certainly a great career.

          Robin Reid
actually I totally agree, good opponent! arguably a draw or loss mind you.

, Byron Mitchell when he was good,
not when he was about to retire. another dodgy result though, and rematch refused once again.

Mario Veit when he was good
You have got to be kiddin me!

          Jeff Lacy at his peak
he was a joes first legit title capture so yes, i agree, emphatic win.

          Mikkel Kesser
          yes

2 good title level wins in 3 good opponents.

I guess if you define the word "some" as 2 then yes. Just a bit short of rockys atg career though!

too, then Bernard Hopkins who was still very good and a fading but then still high level opponent Roy Jones Jr. Not the best of course but certainly a great career.
not title defences. You DID say title defences.

And I said Marciano was #1 in his division at that time, Joe wasn't, he may not have even been top 5.
Calzaghe was undoubtedly #1 at 168 after he beat Lacey then Kessler.

You’re seriously deluded if you won’t admit that.

Lol did you not see a green Andre Ward beat the piss out of Kessler FAR more decisively than Joe? And Lacey, my god, the guy that nearly lost to 26-6 Sheika (b4 Joe) and Tsypko, now you're reaching.

Marciano's resume isn't the greatest but it's better than Calzaghe's.

I’d personally rate Ward higher than Joe myself. That same Kessler clearly beat Froch though...

What I’m disagreeing with is you suggesting Joe was not #1 at 168. During the mid 2000’s and specifically 06-08 he was undoubtedly #1 at 168. He was arguably the best super middleweight for the majority of the 2000’s tbf.
