Tough question both guys most notable wins came against guys who were no longer at their peak. I’d probably edge Marciano but would be fine with others picking Calzaghe.

Marciano was #1 in his division.

Calzaghe is probably the 5th best guy to fight at 168. Ward, Froch, RJJ, Toney, rank ahead of him, possibly even Jean Pascal . David Benavidez could pass him up very soon too.

        Froch😂😂
Calzaghe was a far superior fighter, just look at either of their fights against a prime Kessler.

Are you also trying to suggest Marciano is the #1 HW of all time???

        Surely trolling...

Marciano beat Archie Moore, Jersey Joe Walcott twice, Ezzard Charles twice and knocked out Joe Louis.

          The end!

Calzaghe had 23 title defenses I believe and some against some really top top opponents so I'd give it to him on that merit.

Kessler & Froch are entirely different fighters, Calzaghe NEVER fought someone with Froch's power+class and no a shot Eubank dropping 20lbs on a week's notice doesn't count.

Look at Maidana-Mayweather, nobody thought he'd stand a chance.

And I said Marciano was #1 in his division at that time, Joe wasn't, he may not have even been top 5.
