Sure streaming is the future in some capacity. But until they but a major sport exclusively on an app I'm not convinced yet. I'm the boxing guy in my circle of friends. When they call or text me asking what channel the fight is on & I explain to them the apps they don't think the hassle is worth it unless it's a big fight like Canelo. If y'all think anybody but us are watching these fights on these apps y'all are clueless.

Apps bad showtime good, apps bad fox good.

    Troll.

You didn't address my question though . How would a Potential fan be exposed to Boxing if it's only on a pay App ?

I don't mind shelling out between $10-$20 per month for DAZN but I will be damned if I have to pay an additional $5 a month for a sports package, that I am already subscribed to.

I already have over four or five ESPN channels with my sports programming package as it is from my cable provider and I refused to pay anymore.

That app should be included as a bonus with my programming package.

Why cant there just be an app (one app) one place that has every network, every fight going on globally at the click of a button with a pay per view scheme. Go on there pay for a particular fight forget the fodder. Leave it for a bit come back few months later get another and so on and so on.

Yeah Boxing is not a sport that needs to be exclusively on a Boxing App in America, especially when the sport is not that popular as whole to begin with. DAZN and Eddie Hearn Groupies seems to take that so personal for whatever reason when it doesn't have anything to do with them. It is the True, boxing Popularity has taken a serious Dive while other far more popular sports, they all offer their biggest match ups on Network TV for FREE!

So yeah, being on ESPN or even FOX is better for boxers trying to build up their brand and popularity and especially for Foreign Fighters trying to become Stars in America on a APP that only a limited amount of people have. The difference with ESPN+ is that they have a huge Network, so even if people don't watch live, they will run Highlights of it on ESPN all day which is what is happening

Broadcast TV is gonna be basically dead for streaming TV to be fully alive. Its gonna be a bunch of 70 year olds watching Matlock repeats on broadcast TV I'd be willing to bet. There won't be room for it among younger people & those into new entertainment cuz entertainment is changing. People want custom options more & more. You can't do that with broadcast TV. Fight Pass allowing you to pick the commentary you wanna listen to & movies like that choose your own adventure Black Mirror film are only the beginning of whats possible with streaming TV.

You didn't address my question though . How would a Potential fan be exposed to Boxing if it's only on a pay App ?
Slowly like all new technology & concepts gets introduced til it reaches a critical mass & more basic options that are easier to use &/or easier to find get into more peoples hands.

Again this has happened a million times with a million things. This is hardly a unique situation.
