Will the upset help or hurt DAZN??

It will help for the rematch but then it depends on the result and what proceeds after that. If Ruiz wins, can DAZN lock him up? If not, then it won't help DAZN that one of their two cash cows loses two consecutive fights and they lose three titles.

But this is why I think DAZN pushes very hard to get the fight in the US. The rematch could do huge numbers. If it happens in the UK though? Won't be as big. But if it states in the contract the rematch is in the UK, then what can DAZN do?

        - Is for unified World Titles

        Not too bad for them.
They aren’t guaranteed to get the US TV Rights. Hearn has said the fight will be in the UK, DAZN will therefore have to bid against PBC and ESPN for US International Rights.

Ruiz is one of Haymon’s fighters. Haymon will want that fight on Showtime/FOX in the U.S.

So who knows. DAZN have lost out massive. Joshua-Wilder will have to take place on a PBC Network now that Wilder is the A side in the U.S.

And if Canelo loses to GGG in September what will they do ?
They are also not guaranteed to get the rights to Big US sports rights as the US justice department will likely want to know where that Russian Money is coming from which is ultimately what is funding DAZN

        Rough times ahead..

Top of the food chain in the pound for pound list too, sat proudly above Wilder.

I believe that Anthony Joshua can come back but if he doesn't. I still don't see how it could either hurt and help DAZN because AJ was never a draw here in the U.S. Anyway to begin with. He's has never fought stateside before and doesn't have a huge following or fanbase among the American mainstream crossover audience.

Matchroom and Golden Boy are the only companies that really work with DAZN. Ruiz taking out Matchroom's pillar can't help, those heavyweights went with Eddie to try to secure a shot at AJ.

Andy definitely rules above all on all food related lists

So you’re not gonna dispute Andy can eat more chicken breast than Wilder ?

If AJ wins the rematch, it will help. Screw him losing his veneer of invincibility, this fight creates an excitement that hasn't been there for a couple years.

But if AJ loses the rematch? Yeah, that's a disaster.

Butterbean and Arreola are retired. No one stands a chance in Andys food challenges.
