Will the upset help or hurt DAZN??

100% agree with this. If AJ took him out after the first knockdown, who could they get who will interest a US audience? Now they have a monster fight on the cheap. AJ obviously needs to win the rematch for it to be better long term. But ironically AJ losing to Andy Ruiz will see way more interest in his next fight.I initially felt like AJ getting dethroned (some would say "exposed" even) would be a massive hit to dazn because he's their 2nd biggest star.
But, giving it further thought, it's probably going to help it. AJ wasn't really a draw in the US yet and they don't need dazn to see him in the UK.
Seems to me this is a sacrificial win for the subscription service because it adds some excitement and credibility.

IDK what you arguing, I don't see this as a loss for Dazn. The fight tonight was great, the whole card was solid. They have a compelling rematch on their hands(if it gets made). People pay for entertainment and value, we got that tonight.Comment

... in terms of boxing entertainment the card really was great... but in terms of boxing business it was a dramatic loss for DAZN + Matchroom U.S. (just my opinion)...Comment

And I said that Ruiz Jr. was an awful style matchup, and to not be surprised if Andy won.
