AJ has fought threats. He took on Wlad, he took on Parker when he was undefeated, he took on Whyte when he probably could have avoided him. Fury took on Wlad when he still looked good and when Fury was considered an underdog. Wilder has taken on Ortiz and Fury. So fights are getting made. But largely this division is being held hostage to the Mayweather effect - must preserve that zero at all costs otherwise your negotiating leverage is gone. And that is where the Greed comes in. What amount of $ is enough? Wilder turned down a hundred million. How can that not be enough? AJ wanted to play the A side too hard so Wilder took fright. Fury did take a great risk with the wilder fight but then has decided he favors the 'boxing is a business' approach more.

These guys are all far from living the 'line em up' philosophy.
Hey, seeing as your post appears to be the most level-headed, objective, thoughtful, and intelligible of the bunch, your "keeping it real" signature is fitting and well deserved. Spot on, insightful stuff.

More and more I appreciate unbiased, nonpartisan commentary, not rooted in some type of agenda. Hoping more of your content is like this as well. Peace.

I knew when the Klit bros who a lot of guys hated retired they would be sorely missed. look at the garbage now on the HW scene

          This era isn't that unusual.

Wilder and Joshua will fight when at least one of them is finished. We'll pay for it and the promoters will be proven right. Again. And they'll repeat it because they keep being right.

          More fool us.
are you 14 years old? what about Ali frazier foreman holyfield bowe etc they all fought each other never bums when they were high rated fighters

I’m not even going to attempt to spell his name because I know I’d fu#k it up big time. He just fought maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago.

You know who I’m talking about right? You a fan of him?
I think his name is Mutbwhka Walkgubockinrutydhutur

It’s a poor quality era for HW, but the sport has reached a low point in terms of match ups over money.

Don’t believe the BS that one promoter is at fault over another, they are all trying to make the most out of their assets, each is guilty of delaying fights.

It's really simple. It's all about control. Plain and simple. With Arum , Haymon and Hearn (with Hearn having the biggest peice of the pie) nobody wants to give ground. Wilder had every right to turn down that deal from DAZN. AJ isn't even signed to DAZN as he does everything on a fight by fight basis. So i can't understand why people are so eager for Wilder to sign. Where is this same energy for AJ to sign exclusively to DAZN?

Truth is the Wilder/AJ fight is too big to remain on an app. Period!!! Wilder signing to DAZN would benefit DAZN and DAZN only. If people really think that Haymon is going to let that happen then guess again. Showtime will have their part in this fight as this will be a split site. No need for Wilder to sign his life away.

Is that why he gives AJ's opponents a lot more money than anyone else gives?

If not you clown, tell me which Heavyweight gives their opponents bigger paydays?

You have nothing but delusion because you're cowards. The US is a coward nation full to the brim with ret4rds.
