How often have the top Heavyweights fought each other in their prime?

    This era isn't that unusual.

Wilder and Joshua will fight when at least one of them is finished. We'll pay for it and the promoters will be proven right. Again. And they'll repeat it because they keep being right.

    More fool us.

That it lacks depth and there are rarely any decent fights being made. Shameful really.. no, make that abysmal.
I'll stick with the WBSS when it comes around

If Al Gaymon the cancer of boxing didn't block Wilder vs Fury 2 and Joshua vs Wilder we would have all the fights already. Al Gaymon must die.

          Greed of course.
People in boxing are only obsessed with recreating the Mayweather x Pacquiao money fight, and guess what? It's not going to happen anytime soon.

These three guys are not household names by any stretch of the imagination. AJ is kinda big in the UK and that's it. Wilder and Fury no one knows they exist besides us boxing nerds.

So, really, unless they start putting those 3 to fight each other, back and forth, right now, no one will care about them in 5/10 years.

both. athletes today are hip to the game. when these guys fight next year...well wilder and fury already fought...but when joshua joins the mix, we will get greatness and they will make big money.

It's easy to get pessimistic after the Mayweather-Pacquiao delay, but I look at it like this:

Klitschko-Haye got made – "It happened! It happened!" For 2 years it seemed like there was no way these fighters would ever agree to any negotiations, any deal, or even set foot in the same country as each other, let alone face off in the ring... but it happened. In January 2011, everything went quiet, and suddenly the fight was on. There didn't turn out to be much action in the ring, but it was the 2 best HWs in their prime deciding who the best was.

I still think we will get what we want.
