    No one ever has.

Which means one of 2 things: Either not a single person has ever violated the Ali Act, or the Justice Dept just doesnt care one way or the other.

Now who the f#ck is J Rock til today? He was a bum by half the mfers in this forum & since the Charlo KO & hell I even predicted him to lose, by KO iirc, to Hurd this weekend.

But he's got 1M worth of real estate & til today he was merely a top ten guy who didn't seem like he was going to be more than a top ten guy.

Thats Al Haymon looking out for these mfers to a level few managers/advisors are in the game.

If Manny had a guy like Haymon in his corner instead of that potato head looking mfer he had during his prime he'd probably own 24% of the Philippines by now instead of being stressed by the IRS.

I agree with your general spirit.

Just depends on what angle you are looking at Haymon from. Every fighter should love him solely on the fact he can get some guys to fight 1- 2 times a year an they are still full fledged
      millionaires.

Leading up to the build up of the fight Tommy was regarded as the bigger and stronger fighter of the two with a much heavier punch than Ray Leonard. However, once the fight began it was clear that Leonard was the stronger fighter of the two.

He was able to back Hearns' up at will by pinning him along the ropes and bullying him on the inside for long stretches at a time. Which was very similar to how J-Rock did Hurd.

Moreover, Tommy appeared very weak and drained with no snap on his punches to hurt Ray Leonard; Perhaps due to excessive weight cutting. Just like Hurd larger size and punches appeared to have no effect on Williams.

In any case, Hearns' and his handlers thought that it would be in his best interest to vacate the 147 lbs division and move up to the 154lb division. Likewise, I believe that it would in the best interest of Jarrett Hurd to follow suit also by moving up a higher weight class too.

If he continues to talk in 3rd person while cameras are rolling, his little a$$ can stay retired IMO

I have never once accused him of cheating a fighter. But a blind man can see the obvious conflicts of interest that he currently has.......

Golden Boy essentially made four claims of anticompetitive conduct: That Haymon (1) illegally tied his manager services to the use of his promoter services or a “sham” promoter of his choosing

                ...

Towards the end of his decision, Judge Walter swiftly rejected Golden Boy’s claim that Haymon violated the Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act by simultaneously serving as his boxers’ manager and promoter (via the PBC). He noted that boxers and government agencies are the only parties with standing to claim a violation of the Ali Act, explaining, “…the conflict of interest provision in the Ali Act was not intended to compensate promoters for lost profits.”

In reading through the decision, one couldn’t help but imagine Judge Walter doing the ***embe Mutombo finger wag as he tore into “failed” Golden Boy claims in key sections and the work, or lack thereof, of its expert witnesses. Golden Boy’s apparent reliance on “certain informal, vague, and hearsay conversations” and “utter speculation” was identified and squashed by the judge, a point driven home with a quote in the opening paragraph of his discussion, “…anecdotal speculation and supposition are not a substitute for evidence…”
Terry is smarter than Golden Boy's lawyers and a federal judge.

You should've given Golden Boy the evidence you have that Haymon is in violation of the Ali Act. Despite Golden Boy having PBC's documents during discovery, and their own evidence, they still couldn't prove it.

But Terry has the real evidence

Yeah its bull**** how he never fought Santa Cruz( or Mares). I believe Russell when he says Haymon was protecting Santa Cruz from him which is a conflict of interest. People will try to deflect insulting Russell and other bull**** but its obvious why they never fought.
