Joshua turned and offered 100 mill and Wilder said NO! Who's fooling who?

You're absolutely right, but he was a champion at that time and was garenteed huge paydays any direction he took. ortiz is in a much different position. He's not champ, plus he's not making huge paydays. Joshua is right on this one. Ortiz is practically no one that's up there in age. Why not take the opportunity to make a career high payday, and also, which is more important than the actual payday because it could lead to much bigger ones, a chance to get 4 out of the 5 main titles. That's what every fighter wishes for. I'm sure he's kicking himself over this. Imagine if he somehow would've beaten Joshua. The negotiation power he now has in a rematch with wilder is a much better one.

Ah, I must have been mistaken then. I thought Miller was getting 10 million for some reason & not 6.5 million

Joshua made a great account of himself. If need be, change the name to Wilder and read it again. It was a great and a thoughtful accounting...period.

Like him or not Anthony comes across as a thoughtful smart and a just guy. When people from the US get to know him he'll be a mega-star in the USA. He's everything you want in a hero, a roll model that's easily marketable to the masses.

With Dazn, Wilder would’ve been scheduled to make over 15 million in purse against Breazeale, I wonder if he even sniffs that type of money with Showtime.

He's absolutely right but only if you allow manufactured false facts. Luis Ortiz himself claimed Ready. Quote "I could be ready for Anthony Joshua". Only speculation was who stopped it but the reason was always the same surrounding a "low-ball offer" and not a word about training camp. Training camp never entered the picture, money and only money did. The training camp excuse came up days and weeks later by some fan in contrary to what Ortiz himself said over and over.

Hopefully Ortiz gets the fight down the line

Would be sad to see him miss a opportunity like that because of some promoter chess match bullshiz

Remember reading his daughters not well . He needs that coin more than that chump miller or Ruiz

Ortiz did not take the fight because he is on the juice. Who is that dumb to reject millions in a winnable fight. Manger took responsibility to protect Ortiz braves

My understanding is that together with all cuts he's lucky if he gets 4 mill and a possible rematch with Ortiz and Fury. He could stand to make more because the feeling at the PBC is that a loss to Joshua stops the money train.

Hard to prove but it certainly does explain a lot.
