Geez that is a bit of a reach to equate that statement with obsession but ok.

Man people really have selective memory. Have people forgot how Hearn introduced himself to the US market. He insulted all the American promoters and said he will take over. So now he has to deal them its all competition.

Fair enough, but im just looking through Wilders PPV numbers for his career and it isnt pretty reading. Ive also seen the PPV numbers for some of the PBC PPV's from the last year and it appears they are all weak numbers.

Unless you are saying it is because already proven PPV superstar Anthony Joshua whose HUGE PPV NUMBERS are already there for all to see is the reason this fight does so well. Cuz lets be fair here, Wilder Fury was supposed to be something special and from everything ive read it did OK at best and that is mainly down to Tyson Fury.

The problem with this PPV business and DAZN is DAZN are willing to put down a guarantee which they feel will match what the fighters could possibly earn on PPV. People like Showtime and the PBC want to tell us these PPV's are massive and will do this and that but they are not prepared to put down a guarantee, just incase it doesnt.

And lets be fair, most recent PBC PPV's have not done the numbers that the PBC have been saying they would. Didnt Wilder claim the Fury fight would do 2.5 million PPV's? It didnt even do the .5 let alone 2 million.

Its easy to say Joshua v Wilder on Showtime PPV does umpteen million sales but judging by recent sales of PPV in America all of them have only just gone over break even.

Finkel has a net worth of 350 thousand bucks. He isn't putting anyone out of business in this lifetime. He is not good at his job.

Cuz he is a small old frail peanut headed wanker who knows his prize fighter is being made to look like a massive ducking coward and he is very bitter about that. Also he doesnt like to be called Shirley.

But him thinking stalling and blocking Joshua v Wilder will drive Matchroom out of business. LOL. They were doing very well before Joshua even turned pro and im sure they will be going strong after Finkel has been eaten by a squirrel.

In fairness to Shirley Winkle I think there is more personal sh^t between these two than just normal sh^t.

Eddie seems to have started beef & made this personal with Shelley so can't really blame Shelley for returning the favor.

That said people take words too seriously. Cats doing multimillion dollar business on the reg are gonna call you some f#cked up sh^t or wish the worst on you at times. I foresee the day when Eddie & Shelley are smiling at each other behind a press conference desk.

                      This.

Eddie has been dealing with the karma of how he came to the US from day 1.

Heard a recent interview he did before the Haney presser where he said he's a positive guy & wishes the best to everyone in the business BUT if someone had come into the UK like he came into the US he'd be like "f#ck that guy...who the eff is this mfer" or something to that effect.

Thats what I dig about Eddie. He talks to the media so much he can't help but be honest at times unlike most other promoters. And he's not as married to the idea he's never done anything wrong.
