It's been said on multiple occasions by AJ, Hearn and DAZN that Anthony Joshua isn't exclusive to DAZN. He has never been exclusive to DAZN. If another network is willing to outbid DAZN for an AJ fight, then they could get it.Comment

Canada and Germany are both very lucrative markets for boxing. 10 million people watched AJ vs Wlad live in Germany.
A better question would be .. would the fight be reasonably expected to sell enough $75 PPVs in the US to guarantee Wilder at least $40million, and AJ the $50million he said he would want to fight Wilder in the US.
The answer to that question is clearly "no" or there would be a counter offer from Showtime on the table.Comment

Matchroom and DAZN penned the deal last year and Joshua fights would be streamed on there but there is wriggle room for Joshua to have his fights on an alternative PPV platform in the US.Comment

Hearn is on record saying that if Showtime offer AJ more money than DAZN to fight Wilder, then AJ will accept the offer.Comment

Hearn put out a funny video challenge in reponse .. "Come on Shelly, do it! Accept the fight and end me! End my Empire!"

I think it's safe to assume that selling anything for $20 = more buys than selling the same thing for $75, so that's a very loaded question. Especially considering the $20 buys could come from US, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, Brazil, Japan, Canada and Switzerland, while the $75 buys would be from the US only.

No it isn't a loaded question. Regarding this fight I don't think a less expensive price will drive sales up. This is the biggest fight in the sport, sales aren't driven by price like say choosing to buy a Civic over a Mercedes. It's driven by interest-like a Super Bowl ticket or a ticket to a Broadway show.
I was assuming the fight would be in England, not in the US. If it's in the US I'm sure Vegas would pay a significant site fee.
I guess if the fight sells 2 million it would be enough to get AJ $37 mil and the rest he'd get from the overseas money.Comment
