We've seen it with our own eyes. Are you saying Espinoza posted a forgery?

You yourself stated that a term sheet needed to be agreed before a contract is written out. Now you're saying there's a contract?
A three page agreement and a long form contract are both still contracts. For a boxing match, the long form contract is often dozens and dozens of pages and isn't signed until the week of the fight as the negotiations drag on forever.

But a short form agreement is still a "contract." And even if you want to play semantics and insist a three page agreement isn't a "contract," it still shows that the offer listed Sky as the broadcaster.

"Offers" that you can't and won't back up with a contract when asked to don't mean shit.

Everybody knows the truth about the bogus $50million offer. Stop flogging that dead horse and let the poor critter rest in peace.
I don't even know why this $50m offer is still a talking point.

AJ is partly to blame for saying offer me $50m and i'll sign tomorrow but Wilder sent a $50m offer and then wouldn't even have a meeting about it.

They used AJ's words against him to make it seem like he went back on his word, but Wilder's team actually had no intention of going through with it anyway.

To be fair, they did a good job of discrediting AJ without really having any intention of fighting him.

That's not true at all. Wilder's team refused a meeting to talk about the offer, so what would they be negotiating when they wouldn't even have a meeting? They wouldn't even send a contract. There was nothing to negotiate because it was a bogus statement, not even a real offer with terms and conditions.

Anyway i'm no AJ fan and would want Wilder to win if they fought, but let's not make things up. Wilder sent an "offer" that they clearly had no intention of going through with and that's why they refused meetings.

There's only one side that's ever sent contracts and set up meetings to try and push things forward and that was Matchroom/DAZN etc..

Anyone in the world can send someone an email offering $50m for a fight. It means nothing if you don't go through with the next stage of it.

They did, but when the time came to put up or shut up, the truth came out.

That's why the $50million offer is being dug up again .. deflection.

What makes this man so obsessed with Matchroom and putting them out of business?

There's a cold war ongoing for the future of US boxing. DAZN and by extension Matchroom USA and Eddie Hearn are disrupting the status quo that Shelley is someone who has spent his life working within.

Haymon has spent the best part of a billion dollars building a PBC business that depends on the survival of a mixture of free to air network boxing and, crucially, PPV as the ultimate destination for high value boxing. He can't afford to see US boxing fans abandon that model for a subscription based system which won't deliver the same ROI. In this context the seemingly irrational actions of Haymon or Finkel, or the boxers they advise become far easier to understand.

Wilder sent the 50 million offer on April 25, 2018. Here is an IFL video from weeks later:

Eddie Hearn: "I went back to Al Haymon and asked him six or seven questions, of which they gave us the answers. Some were good answers, some were not so good answers. None were horrific answers."

"It's really a case of does Anthony want to take the fight in Las Vegas."

"There is more money, based on the offer, to do the fight in the US."

"The main thing to decide is are we prepared to go to America. If the answer is yes, we have to go back through the points and try to get it over the line."

"I haven't requested proof of funds."
