Yep, I'd bet something will be worked out....

Spoke with Bob Arum, and they are set to take Lomachenko to jolly ol' England in August-September to face Luke Campbell, as part of the WBC ruling for their 135 pound title #boxing

Arum says that he's also hopeful of making a deal with Eddie 'fast car' Hearn on a Jose Ramirez-Mo Hooker fight, ''We'll make a deal, I'm sure," he stated #boxing

Bob said on their end, it's going to be on an ESPN platform in the US. Hearn/Matchroom will make a decision on their end for the UK

    • Campbell sucks! Rather see loma vs Haney!

      • Not fair for the other ranked contenders but this is the right move. Loma should have first crack at all the belts before all these guys who have done nothing while fighting the most proven guy in the process. Meanwhile the other untested guys can prove themselves by fighting each other. That's how things should work.

Elie, you're back out of hiding after Fury traumatized you in L.A.
Six months of therapy in the pole smoke academy did wonders for you.

It's no corruption. Linares was promised a WBC title shot. Loma beat Linares so he probably got the same thing promised to him. That's my guess

Haney's still a young pup and could do with a bit more ring time anyway, so fighting Abdul while Loma sees off Campbell and Commey would see him nicely placed for Loma in 2020 when he's got a few more rounds under his belt (let's just remember for a sec that he doesn't even reach 21 years old until November - Haney makes Teo look like an old vet).

Crooked? Really? This decision is what makes you think the wbc might be crooked? Anyone with boxing sense knows the wbc is crooked as they come & this decision doesn't show anything other than corrupt business as usual! I do like this decision to give Loma the chance at another title because I feel its boxing if Loma to has all the belts! We know he won't duck anyone or use the excuse about the money not being right!

I'm surprised you're wasting energy on this argument. Clearly Lomachenko deserves a shot at any lightweight belt before Zaur Abdullaev because he's the best lightweight in the world and the best fighters in their respective weight classes should fight for the belts.
Loma is 13-1, or does he get a pass? He lost to 44-12 Salido, but we won't count that?

My first paragraph is pure sarcasm.
