Don't know why anyone is shocked/surprised/upset about this - at what point did anyone start assuming the sanctioing bodies don't just make up the rules as they go along ? Its a bit like being shocked/surprised/upset that a promoter isn't telling the whole truth and nothing but.
As for palms being greased - why ? No need, I wrote just the other day in a different thread:
'...Just thinking, if the WBC was going to just make up the rules on the fly just to maximise their fee income (which would be in character), they would go for Loma v Campbell straight out of the gate. Loma's is where the moneys at...'
Only real question is do we like it ? I kind iof do as if everyone goes along with it (which they won't), it gets everyone fighting each other. As for 'entitlements', the entire ranking system is pants anyway, so why is it any sort of issue if the WBC goes rogue in respect of what is a quasi-random ranking system anyway ?
As far as Abdullaev/Haney/Lopez/Fortuna are concerned, they've all been given a route to the belt where they actually have to fight and beat some decent opposition to get there. eg who has Teo actually beat to be 'deserving' of a direct shot so far ? Let him step up the opposition level and beat Fortuna and winner Abdul/Haney, then there is a reasonable argument that he's earned it (and same for the others).
Did Loma earn it ? Don't see why not given he should be ranked no.1 anyway in any sort of sensible ranking system.
Teo won't be able to complete his side anyway as he won't be able to maintain 135 for 3 more fights. If Loma and Campbell fight Sept, Commey will do his voluntary then claim his hand not yet fully healed to avoid any mando with Teo, then the hand will be magically healed in time for a unification with Loma in Dec.

Because Loma is so small, the timetable is quicker than other fighters. You might think, "GGG didn't get his shot until 35 years old. Loma will only be 32 by the time he gets a chance to fight for the WBC title. That's a big improvement," but really it isn't. Fighters Loma's size decline at 30. Fighters GGG's size decline at 32. So Loma wont get the chance until 2 years after his prime, whereas with GGG it was 3. Not much difference. Loma facing a huge Teofimo at 135 end of this year at 32 years old will be up against it. If anyone has the skill to overcome that and still put in a great performance, it's Loma, but I'm just saying, be very wary about being too confident about ANY fighter two years past prime, and two weight classes above their ideal, reaching undisputed. If he does it it's very cool tho even more so cuz of that.

Lol, but no actually it is promising for Loma vs Lopez happening early 2020. Lopez wins in July then he becomes Commey's mandatory and fights him later in the year. If he is truly the goods and wins? Then nothing is stopping the Lomachenko fight from happening.

There's a line up for that corrupt belt. What has Lomachenko done to require others to get a belt and then he himself leapfrogs all the ranked contenders of another belt org to fight for it?
It's not like he's unifying with another champ, which usually allows the bypassing of contenders.
If I were those contenders, I'd tell the corrupt WBC to remove my name from their rankings pronto. And, screw that clause in their rules which allows them to do basically anything.
Top Rank bribery at its best, like Arum did in Lomachenko's 2nd pro fight. Another hopeless can for Lomachenko to crush. Disgraceful.
I'm done with boxing and its BS. Time for me to slowly transition out of it.
