I used Tor Hamer as he's a guy who shouldn't be touching up any truly decent HW and certainly not like that. Parker, sure but Hamer?

The thing is I don't see any improvements from then just more cautious matchmaking. He fought one guy since with a ring I.Q that used angles on him and he lost.

Who is his best win anyway? Quickly glancing over his record has he even beaten anybody ranked in the top say 30?

Scrap the age, got that wrong. The fight was 6 years ago. Forget all that rubbish that he has a chance or not, the fight you post was 6 years ago. Am sure there were fighters who shouldn’t be touching Fury 6 years ago but guess what? He got touched by them.

Does it matter if he's not improved and bares the same flaws? Like I'd understand if he'd improved leaps and bounds but he hasn't.

Fact remains those flaws were there when he was an amateur, they was 6yrs back and they'll still be there vs AJ and in years to come.

Tyson Fury certainly wasn't struggling with anyone anywhere near as bad as Tor Hamer 6yrs ago and definitely wasn't getting hit with about 50 clean power punches in the space of a few rounds.

Tyson Fury struggled with lesser opposition almost 10yrs back when he was still young enough to improve, tweak his style and still growing. He has way better physical attributes and got his ass in shape, Ruiz can't even manage to do that!
