    Ruiz WILL test Joshua

Don't sleep on Ruiz, he showed a lot in the Parker fight, he controlled the middle rounds, only a late burst by Parker gave him the fight, it was a drawish type fight.

People who are saying Hunter was better need to consider that he was put on ***** street multiple times by Usyk. Is he a good fighter? Absolutely...but I think there is a strong chance Joshua just completely overpowers him and stops him in 1 or 2 rounds.

Ruiz has shown good skill, technique, hand speed and a reliable chin/engine. I think this fight is competitive early, Joshua for a tall fighter has an inconsistent jab and he pushes the straight right a bit, he's much better technically at mid-close range, I think Ruiz will bother him there as he has faster hands and he's strong enough to stay in the pocket a little. I do think Joshua's feet prob win him the fight but I like this fight, it's not as easy as people think, and to be honest no one is going to be happy unless it's Fury or Wilder but this is a legit top 10 heavyweight in my opinion

Joshua should be able to knock this guy out within 3 rounds this fight is to easy.but I'll bet a.j will drag this fight out to make it look competitive to justify him picking such an easy fight

Ruiz probably ranks along with the likes of Parker, Miller, Chisora etc. Probably a notch below the likes of Whyte and a couple of notches below the top fighters.

So although styles make fights, there's also levels. I don't think Ruiz is good enough to beat AJ but it's a chance to see how AJ deals with the opponents style. Could be a decent fight.

Considering it's a stand-in opponent, i think it's an ok fight. I'd basically say Ruiz and Miller are of a similar level, so it is what it is.

No. Joshua fans are desperate for people to think it's a good fight but it's not. The top 3 heavies are all taking crap fights right now.

Anything over 6 rounds is a win for Ruiz, the neutrals would be routing for the short, fat guy who had to come in on short notice. Good thing was he only fought recently, and he likes to let his hands go. Lets see how Joshua deals with that on short notice.

I couldn't give a damn what people believe, the truth will happen any way so if I'm wrong then it will show on the night. This isn't a political discussion, it's a boxing thread so if you feel different then put forward a boxing argument or see your way out

                    This^^^^^^^

I wish fans would unify. I was just cutting the grass and thinking about how much of a messqge we could send if nobody paid attention or went to trash fights. I'm not bashing AJ or Hearn for this cause they tried to get Ortiz. I'm just talking about in general. Imagine flipping through the channels and coming upon Wilder's next fight and the arena is empty aside from press and their families and the ratings tank. We need to send a message to these promoters about these garbage fights. Unfortunately it will never happen
