People who are saying Hunter was better need to consider that he was put on ***** street multiple times by Usyk. Is he a good fighter? Absolutely...but I think there is a strong chance Joshua just completely overpowers him and stops him in 1 or 2 rounds.

Ruiz has shown good skill, technique, hand speed and a reliable chin/engine. I think this fight is competitive early, Joshua for a tall fighter has an inconsistent jab and he pushes the straight right a bit, he's much better technically at mid-close range, I think Ruiz will bother him there as he has faster hands and he's strong enough to stay in the pocket a little. I do think Joshua's feet prob win him the fight but I like this fight, it's not as easy as people think, and to be honest no one is going to be happy unless it's Fury or Wilder but this is a legit top 10 heavyweight in my opinion
    - -If Ruiz can adjust his style to leverage the obvious height and reach disadvantage, yeah , he could prove difficult.

If he cannot adjust, well the most probable result is a steady beatdown aka Vitali/Arreola

I'm predicting a quicker result than that. No matter, Andy will do himself proud by making a fight of it.

Stand in opponents often do well. Ruiz has been a name on top of tongue for a while.
So he will give good fight

I wouldn't have picked him if I was Hearn.

Mainly because he's an absolute pudding. AJ is gonna look bad unless he sends him to the moon in 5 or less.

And Ruiz from what I saw in the Parker fight is fast and has enough devil in him to take the fight to AJ. AJ is a slow starter recently as well so I expect Ruiz to have early success a la Povetkin. Maybe not to the same extent because Povetkin is a very decent operator even now.

Who did you want him to fight?
Wilder is in hiding, Ortiz turned it down, Miller is a druggie..
You think theres a dozen top drawer hw's with nothing on the calendar at 6 weeks notice?

The difference is that Fury and Wilder are purposefully taking on uncompetitive fights and Joshua isn't. AJ is after the toughest fights but is it his fault if Wilder is a lil b***h?

I wish fans would unify. I was just cutting the grass and thinking about how much of a messqge we could send if nobody paid attention or went to trash fights. I'm not bashing AJ or Hearn for this cause they tried to get Ortiz. I'm just talking about in general. Imagine flipping through the channels and coming upon Wilder's next fight and the arena is empty aside from press and their families and the ratings tank. We need to send a message to these promoters about these garbage fights. Unfortunately it will never happen

You dismissed his ability because you thought I was some fan boy, you don't understand styles...clearly, but worse can't admit when you're wrong, utter tit
