How is leaving your promoter and reducing your trainers pay by 80% even remotely similar?

Canelo destroyed greedy's team, as soon as he faced some competition, he left the ring in tears and fired his team

Abel mentioned $100million and says he was offered a fixed fee amounting to 1/5th of the 10% he was getting till then.

Going by that, the fixed fee GGG offered him would have been $2million.

OMG, if he did he would've beaten Canelo in the second fight.
Remember Sanchez urged GGG to step it up in the end when the corner realized the fight was close.
But GGG decided to box and move.
Boxing iq ggg? Barely none, just basic technics and raw power.
              An all-time great? Could be.
Wow. That dramatic twist at the end...who knew you were going there. Mind does amazing things, right?

Hope Dazn gets there money's worth with plenty of GGG headlined cards. Triple coward vs "who the f--- is that?" Triple cheapskate vs no-name corpse. Triple b---h vs 35th soft touch. Mad tv guy vs who the f--k cares?

I guess if Floyd says it then you love it.

Cotto was great, but GGG was a different level anyway - he has no actual losses on his resume, and was much more dominant than Cotto ever was.

What quality trainer worth his salt is going to want to work for that amount of money?

It's literally the exact same situation - Floyd was starting to make more money and Arum wanted to continue to take his same percentage off of Floyd.

Per the bold - you're also intellectually dishonest or deficient - Abel's pay would be higher on average with the new deal, than what he made with GGG on average before.

5% of 10 million is more than 10% of 2 million. Anyone saying a trainer or promoter deserves more than a few hundred thousand for any fight is crazy. And they aren't to be taken seriously when they change their mind on the situation depending on which trainer/fighter/promoters are involved.
