There is always 2 sides to the story but the 10% was probably more or less to a certain dollar amount or should be.
Say most of GGG's fights the past 5 years minus the two Canelo fights were for 4 million average. 10% 400k. I can see 500k at most. But when his money went up to 100 million by 6 fights = 16.6 million each. I can see where he didn't see the point of Abel getting over 1.5 million a fight. That 10% is fine when your fighter is making under 5 million but a trainer and I don't care which is not worth a million or more a fight. That just honest business smarts.
It's really ****ty of Abel to come out *****ing as that there private business for one and for two if makes Abel look like the greedy ass not GGG.
10% to a certain cut off level being I think no trainer deserves over a million. There not getting hurt or risking there lives. They don't put in the work either. The boxer has all the risk. Abel should have been happy for GGG not out to steal undeserved money.
Just my opinion.

I believe this was a decision GGG after him loosing his belts to Clenelo Alvaroidz, Abel just did not
have an answer or a plan to beat Canelo so GGG decided to leave him, i don’t think it is the
money aspect. We will see if thats the case when new
trainer is
announced...

This is just how boxing goes. Remember how many trainers Oscar went through, Cotto cut off his own uncle. Mosley even fired his pops once. No one is safe.

I can understand him being a little emotional - but the thing is that he even said that the writing for this has been on the wall for weeks. For him to come out and respond so emotionally and callously publicly is not a good look for him. I guess he knows GGG was his last big fish so if he loses him he knows he is basically going to retire as a trainer anyway.
But comments like these will definitely change his public perception and legacy. Just a terrible look for him imo, and I always liked him.

ggg could have said to him, listen bro, im getting more money and the better i do the more i get, so if i win ill pay u a bit more too! happy, yeah cool
or the relationship could have run its course and the cash being the final straw, it happens when things dont go so well, someone has to carry the can ^^
