Cotto was great, but GGG was a different level anyway - he has no actual losses on his resume, and was much more dominant than Cotto ever was.
No actual losses lmao. Another gullible gennady groupie. His best win is Kell Brook.

I posted this already but here goes:

trainers do NOT get 10% of $100 million for running 10 training camps. Does anybody think Floyd Sr got $25 mil for training JR for the mc Gregor fight ?

A trainers pay maxes out about 400k and it is fantastic money, and they can train fighters all year round too, unlike the fighter. If a boxer did that his 100 mil would be gone in no time,

Golovkin didn't need him to knock all of those C level fighters he beat. Abel sounds greedy IMO. As a trainer he should already know he's subject to be replaced or to have his pay cut. Especially since Golvokin is already very advanced in his career and style.

Going by that, the fixed fee GGG offered him would have been $2million.
Not sure I trust either side’s version of events now! £2m for 6 fights seems good but not so good when you know there’s much more available.

Im actually shocked at GGGs pay, hes not a major US attraction PPV wise, I suspect DAZN wont be long in boxing, or their fee will just keep on growing

But of course when GGG does it, its an outrage!!!!! LOL

Perhaps once Wilder does it then this forum will suddenly decide how wise and appropriate it is lol
Do you know whether a trainer on a percentage cut for a PPV fight is paid according to the purse guaranteed to his fighter, or would he get a percentage of the total income, including PPV sales?

Available for who though ? Its not like hes in the big fights, there is for sure a price limit on running a training camp. Wouldnt it be fantastic if all employers did that ha ha

                    Really

People are smoking some good stuff if they think big $ fighters are giving their trainer 10%. It’s 100 million dollars. 5% is MORE than enough in a 6 fight deal. Give me a break. People calling GGG greedy are ridiculous.

it doesn't really matter , if as a trainer you are getting a few hundred grand standing outside the ropes you are seriously overpaid and winning
