PBC Rabid lunatics are screeching that Ortiz value and stock has risen from the good performance against Wilder. Hes dropped on to undercards which no doubt comes with undercard money. How can this be seen as stock and value rising?

Why cant we just cut the bull ****. There could be a number of reasons why they did not want this fight but they didnt want this fight, after all that they said when they thought Joshua was signed up with Miller and backtracked on literally everything they said and ducked. Its a duck.

But what bothers me is a ducker is bad enough, worse is a ducker who talks alot about wanting it so much and when their price is met and the fight is offered they duck. But whats the worst kind of duckery is the one who talks a good game but then ducks and THEN start trying to cover their tracks by trying to make it out that the other side are the duckers and liars and lowballers and all that stuff they say.

Its just a duck, be a duck and duck off waiting for your Wilder rematch that wont happen. Your guna get shafted Ortiz. Again. Twice in a year. Wont let you face AJ although i know you wanted it and he will backtrack on his promise for Wilder. Or atleast not pay you half of what ever amount he has told you.

surefire way to kill fight he didn't want

remember....Ortiz is not only not the first HW to accuse hearn of lowballing...hearn has been accused by several guys of it in the past

its sad...but I get it...Ortiz too dangerous of a replacement plus lefthanded

for the record Ortiz asking for 10 mil is ridiculous...but I bet if eddie said 6.5 it would be done

never underestimate that extra 1.5...it pays trainers and managers and camp expenses.....but somehow hearn felt the less ballyhooed miller deserved more!!!! LOL
I do agree but I will say that he's not worth more than what was offered based on the loss to Wilder.

Any fight is singular, a boxer does not get paid for a season. This fight with AJ, given the hoophula, etc is such that if we apply ockham's Razor we see that

                1) As Red said: You get paid by the job. Replacing Miller means at the very least Ortiz should not get less than Miller... Its also a last minute deal lets not forget...

                2) And WBC guy discussing WHY perhaps Ortiz was so called lo balled also makes sense: "it is the start of a negotiation" its kind of common sense.

Again it is funny how these promoter threads get so acrimonious lol. Let me ask this question: with the drawing power of AJ, and with the date set for this big fight....what is it worth to have a decent opponent who has made things happen? Because it seems to me the payday for Ortiz is peanuts and simply a way to start a negotiation in earnest.

Why do people get so worked up over purses? In many endevours one is paid per the job. AJ has tremendous drawing power right? So If I am the promoter I want to get him in with someone who is at least a credible threat... though not someone who he did not train for and could derail him. Under those conditions what would it matter if they offered Ortiz 12 Million? lol.
                1) that makes no sense. You get paid your worth not for the job, otherwise every challenger would get paid exactly the same which we all know is not the case.

                2) there was no negotiation, they received an out of this world offer, rejected it, went public and called it lowball to save their own grace.

You think Ortiz needs your financial advice you don’t know what was put on the table for wilder two just worry about getting to work on time at McDonald’s and quit paying your cable bill late.
