And at $75 a pop the PPV numbers are not bad either. It just remains to be seen if he can continue to grow as a draw.
    Hes already dropped off PPV.

OMG Wilder got interviewed on National TV!!! He definitely deserves a 50-50 split now!

Exactly. Wilder vs Breazeale would have flopped horribly on PPV, which is why its on regular Showtime.

          Takam - c. 80,000 (UK PPV 887,000 buys)
Parker (attendance not found, UK PPV 1.45m buys)
          Povetkin - c. 80,000

Even AJ's fight against Eric Molina - the guy who took Wilder rounds, but got a one-sided beating against Joshua - did 450,000 buys.
the price of the ppv's were nowhere close to the same nor where the seats

I agree, he is not a huge draw but his appeal is improving

So yea, Wilder is now significant enough to be put on CBS big ratings programs
Maybe 2 people recognised Wilder the other night at the game. Whereas if they tried this in the past when even his own mother didn't know who the f3ck he was would have been pure hilarity. It's the equivalent of putting Donald Trump on Mastermind. Haha.

As I say, stop trying to make Deontay out to be a star, it isn't working. It just gives us lot more ammunition to ridicule you and Wilder ever more.

CBS has owned Showtime for years. This is the first time they've showcased Wilder. You're a fool if you don't recognize how mish much his profile has risen. Fury benefitted from his association with Wilder. Nobody in America was trying to sign him until hev fought Wilder. Stop being a Hearn zombie

You don't even live in America. All you know is what you read on the internet. That's not real life fool

Oh I acknowledge that Wilder's popularity has risen since the Fury fight. I don't dispute that. It still doesn't make him a well known star though, because he isn't.

Fury is known as the man who dethroned Wlaimir Klitschko. Being associated with a nobody wouldn't have helped one bit. It was the other way round. It being Wilder's very first PPV fight is more proof of this. As is Fury having more fans in the build up and in the arena at the time. All Wilder is known for at this time is losing to a 50% version of Fury who was weakened and needed to get a robbery draw. Oh, and then coming out with the most embarrassing excuses the world of boxing has ever heard. Haha. Now he's back on regular Showtime because it would bomb horribly on PPV if they were so ****** as to try. Wilder's insane and fragile ego couldn't handle it. Just like he can't handle reality.

But please, continue making a fool out of yourself if it makes you feel better. No skin off my nose. I could actually do with a chuckle.
