    My remarks were directed at threads like this. The absurd notion that because CBS wisely used their platform to provide exposure for an event occurring on a network they own (Showtime), that it wasnt actually "smart promoting", but instead it was some kind of proof that media outlets are clamoring up and down to have Wilder do interviews in prime time. Its beyond ******ed.

    The thread should have been about how smart it was for CBS to do this, but the Haymon fan club couldnt stop at that, no, they had to paint it as some kind of evidence of the star power of Wilder. Its laughable, and as usual, is off base.
    Compare this to what you actually wrote. You could have easily said that it’s a great look for the champ and credit to the network. Instead, you wrote that no one around the makeshift booth is paying attention, to imply no one cares.

    Your perspective on Haymon is clearly skewed and you can’t be objective. It’s why you were wrong before and making bitter snide comments now.

          I wrote that because its true. Nobody cares. Except for Floyd and Pac, 99% of people couldnt pick a single champ out of a lineup. So when the TS makes this big thing about how this interview is evidence of how well known Wilder is (instead of just clever promoting by CBS corp), its just funny to look around and everyone is more worried about getting a hot dog or eating cotton candy, and are completely oblivious to the mega super duper super star that is doing an interview 10 feet away.......

            So what is it you are trying to explain to us? I must be wrong but i got the impression you are trying to tell us that Wilder is some sort of A side over Anthony Joshua based on him being on a list and being asked to a Basket ball game.

              Nobody cares? Is that why you’re writing novels?

                let me rephrase it.......

                nobody outside of boxing's comparatively tiny fringe audience cares.

                better?

                    because he lost hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to be a boxing promoter and has nothing to show for it.

                      Clearly. And as a former promoter, why at all would Wilder’s appearance during the final four be a bad thing? You can clarify and say who credit goes to, but why try and crap on it? Ahh Terry.
