NO, it was world wide. They barley broke 200 K in the U.S.

PPV is on the way out anyway because it's so easy to stream. The Russians, Chinese and Africans get every thing streamed.

Stop please. No US journalist/writer reports worldwide numbers. This is what ticked Dana White off when he said Mayweather/McGregor broke all PPV records, when that may have been true worldwide, but it wasn't stateside and that's what kept being reported. And then SHO itself released the numbers and showed it fell short of the Mayweather/Pacquiao PPV.

If Coppinger/Iole/Rafael/Pugmire are releasing numbers, they are strictly US PPV buys. They wouldn't be releasing the UK PPV numbers.
Showtime releases the numbers to investors. That's just good business.

So Showtime doesn't know how many people bought the fight in Europe>

Why would Wilder sign a long term deal with anyone if Showtime was giving him similar money for the Breazeale fight? The Fury rematch is still there and that money is still there without a long term commitment to ESPN. The Joshua fights and that money is still there without a long term commitment to DAZN. It’s a no-brainer.

He would not have turned down a 120 mil, four-fight deal. That's just DANZ talking crap.

So you want Showtime commentators to be like HBO and favor the house fighter? No thank you.

Does SHO know how many international buys there were? I'm sure, since they were involved in the fight. But SHO and HBO hardly ever release numbers. They only do so when the numbers are great. They did NOT release the Wilder/Fury numbers. LIS, when the Mayweather/McGregor numbers were released by guys like Coppinger/Iole/Rafael, they said 4.3 million buys, not 5.5M buys or whatever it did worldwide. All the numbers released by these guys are strictly US based.

And Dana White didn't know the numbers? If not, he needs to hire a new accountant.
