$50m against 50% was in hand for Joshua, and he didn't want to pursue it; shill about "I want to deliver for the UK fan", but whatever.

Joshua is fighting Miller for $30m (likely plus the tickets sold and what he can draw on Sky Box Office at 3am).

Since he's said that the money didn't matter before, what about $50m against 50% of the proceeds? Its clear that the location of the fight is no longer a problem, DAZN is paying $30m and this is more, and the fight is bigger now then when Wilder's camp was already willing to front $50m.

    You're inconsistent dude

Yet more evidence that what I've been saying all along is true. Right or wrong, Wilder is betting on himself.

Wilder is getting close to $20M from SHO. I don't care what the haters say, this has been true all along. He was getting $12.5M before the DAZN negotiations so it only got better from there.

He's likely banking on earning $120M+ from his next three fights after that - the big fight against AJ, the rematch after he wins (his opinion, not mine) and then probably Fury again. Why take $120M for 4 when you can earn more in just 3 fights?

People here continually underestimate the appeal of two undefeated HW champs with belts fighting at the same time. Those fights attract casuals and are social events in ways that fights at lower weight classes almost never are. He's banking on beating AJ and becoming a superstar, which he would be if he pulls it off. He probably believes - and he may be right - that he'd be a box office draw like Tyson or Floyd at that point. Why take $120M when you're potentially leaving $25M or $50M on the table if you think you are going to win?

IF he wins - big if, he'd probably look to stage a fight against AJ and eyeball a possible rematch. Maybe he can lure Wlad out of retirement and/or rematch Fury. Those are 4 HUGE fights that would be worth well over $120M. Again, if he wins. It's awfully risky. If he loses this all goes down the tubes but Wilder strikes me as the kind of guy (fool) who only believes in upside.

And if you do enjoy the product, you're getting a discount on annual fees.

Its still Win/Win for the most part.
Are you from the UK by any chance ?

This thread represents everything that’s wrong with boxing today. You clearly have the three top heavyweights in the world avoiding each other. But instead of calling them on their bull****, we pick sides and turn into lawyers for our favorites. You would have thought you idiots would have learned when Floyd and Manny tap danced around each other five years. They made a ****load of money fighting opponents nobody wanted to see them fight. And finally, when you idiots had had enough and stopped watching them, they were forced to fight each other. Wilder, AJ, and Fury are gonna do the same thing until they can no longer get big paydays without each other. Are y’all clowns really up for another half decade of arguing and angling for your favs in boards like this? And supporting bull**** fights like they all have scheduled next? Cause you’d have to be pure ****ing ******ed to wanna relive that.

Yes, you're making things up. Which you don't even deny now as we both know you have no way of knowing what Wilder makes.

As for hiring an investigator, it's not really a big deal if you have the financial means. I really don't want to get into all of that kind of stuff as of course you'll insist I'm lying.

But I did confirm my identity to the boxingscene admin as well as the user "Billeau2." So they're both now aware of the very wealthy and powerful family I come from. It's really no big deal to hire a PI.

It's not on Wilder to help Eddie Hearn build up his side business (which likely sees his deal voided soon anyway, with Oscar taking lead of the US DAZN effort since Hearn couldn't deliver on what he promised).
The fight will get made once Al Haymon and Eddie Hearn make contact with eachother. Until then, you’ll get smokescreens. Haymon would want Showtime PPV to get the US TV Rights and Hearn would want DAZN to get the US TV Rights.

              This is the main problem

                A 6-year run, lol

Jail time came, Floyd did his time, and basically signed over the next 30 months of his career to Showtime/CBS for 6 fights at the take 1m PPV buys per fight for the 6 owed fights, with upside coming in at some point.

Wilder is basically starting his run now

It is really none of our damn Business! If I'm Wilder or any fighter currently, it would be wise to have your promoter list your Purse Lower than what it really is! Don't end up in debt with the IRS just to brag about your fight purse

So if I'm Wilder "Yeah I'm Only Getting 3-4 Million Per Fight Just Like The Internet Trolls Love To Say"

They didn't want to discuss any alternatives and simply turned down the 2 offers on the table and ended the meeting because Skipper wouldn't talk to them about AJ's financials.
Source on your "Skipper wanted a face-to-face to talk through a one-off fight" nonsense?

Deontay Wilder will fight Dominic Breazeale on May 18th, at Barclays Center on Showtime.

After settling his mandatory, Deontay Wilder now has until next May to take whatever fights he wants.
