We know that Wilder's preferred network is willing to collaborate with
rival networks in order to get the biggest fights made. We know this
because they have done it in the past. We don't know if ESPN and
DAZN would be willing to compromise or collaborate, and they have
not given fans any reason to be optimistic about the odds of it ever
happening. Disney is not known for their benevolence or flexibility.
I hate to tell you this, but we are not going to see any of these big
fights materialize until DAZN folds. I subscribe to both ESPN+ & DAZN,
and frankly, I'd rather see ESPN fail. I find their boxing presentation
dreary & depressing, and they must be out of their mind thinking that
their upcoming PPV is worth the asking price. It's laughable & insulting.

Yes! And exactly the same people that Canelo brings to DAZN will also watch AJ fights.

And Arum said even before Wilder officially announced he was fighting on SHO that Wilder wasn't going to take the DAZN deal and his team matched the offer they sent to him for the Breazeale fight.

Last I heard, he hasn't even inked any multi-year or multi-fight deal with SHO. And Finkel said even if they did, they would have outs in their contract that allowed them to make certain fights.
Where DAZN trumps all this is guaranteeing all 3 fights. Wilder loses vs Breazeale or the fight after and he looks really foolish

Joshua isn't making "truck loads of cash."

FLOYD MAYWEATHER made "truck loads of cash." And he didn't do it on an app and he didn't do it by letting a promoter use him to build a separate business.

Everything Floyd did benefited Floyd and Floyd's business. Joshua would be wise to follow Floyd's lead.

Wrong. Big fights on Showtime drive subscriptions. Espinosa has said that for big Showtime fights they get big signups. That's the motivation for putting big fights on Showtime.

****** point. You don't think the networks know exactly how many free trials convert to paying subscriptions. Of course they do. Easy to track.

In 10 years AJ will be out of the sport.

He is spending his prime years building someone else's business from scratch.

Mayweather didn't build anything for anyone other than himself. Every bit of his value went to building his own business. AJ should do the same and stop building Matchroom and DAZN for someone else. Plantation mentality.

Free subscription that dazn offering go convert to paying subscriptions enough to give millions more on top of his guarantee with the content they offering so far? That’s point number one, secondly people signing up for 30 day subscription and canceling same day or before 30days up won’t bring in any revenue regardless as it’s a free subscription you clearly missed the point from get go
