Wilder used DAZN to olay haymon and showtime.

He forced them to dig deeper in their pockets than they wanted to in order to keep him. As Espinoza admitted, wilder forced him to put more of his budget than he wanted into this Breazeale fight. Breazeale will also make more than he expected prior to DAZN entering the picture.

This will affect a couple showtime cards for sure. Wilder knew Haymon and espinoza were desperate to keep him and he played them perfectly and still can go sign with espn or DAZN right after this next fight since he hasn’t signed a long term contract with showtime.
Thank you for finally admitting that Wilder vs Joshua can happen next and Wilder isn't locked up to any exclusive deal.

u didn’t see the contract. There could be some type of bonuses. But we know he could lose to Breazeale or Joshua and still be guaranteed two Joshua fights. That’s tough to pass up.

He might be. Are there matching clauses with showtime? Also he’s sill brain washed. All my I know is he more than Doubled what Haymon was gonna pay him for Breazeale.

Which is why they don't give out big purses for regular Showtime fights.

So you have nothing to back up your claims of 15 mil and the writers are guessing from what they said at the presser. That's not confirmation.

Fair play to him for that. He would have been foolish to not at the very least ask for the 12.5M that ESPN offered him for this fight. Anything less than that and he's just playing himself. If his team wants to sell him on the fact that the Joshua fight on PPV could earn him more than 40M? Okay no problem, but they better pay him at least what ESPN offered him. And Arum said even before Wilder officially announced he was fighting on SHO that Wilder wasn't going to take the DAZN deal and his team matched the offer they sent to him for the Breazeale fight.

Last I heard, he hasn't even inked any multi-year or multi-fight deal with SHO. And Finkel said even if they did, they would have outs in their contract that allowed them to make certain fights.

It could happen. It will always be in Wilder's interest for it to be a possibility.

It will continue to be in Finkel and Haymon's interest to delay it.

The fight gets bigger the longer he keeps winning (and earning, and leveraging).

But that's not what boxing fans should want. Except the ones who prefer to watch advisers than boxers.

What bonuses could they possibly put in contract subscribers? That won’t work with offering free 30 day subscription until they stop doing that no way they can tie subscription spikes into bonuses so really nothing he can do to parlay a win in first Joshua fight into significant extra money for the second fight, Joshua on other hand still gets his percentage from sky ppv to make a lot of money on backend on top of guarantee that dazn would give him I would of took deal if was me cause it looks good from outside looking in
