its odd, first it was joshuas fault for not offering wilder a percentage first time off, that was a terrible mistake or terrible duck probably, now im not sure whats happening, is hearn offering wilder a percentage or not now? i just couldnt be arsed following all the BS about it anymore, if hes still not offering a percentage for this fight then thats still a duck imo of courseComment

This poster is true definition of dumbness. So if you are a business man you will reject 100 million to fight for 3m? Or, if you manages someone you would rather he earns 3m where there's 100 million for the grabHearn is just a de****able slimey individual. Am I the only one who sees how ridiculous the “he must sign with dazn and join the network I am being paid by....he must leav haymon’s Successful outfit and come join mine in order for this fight to happen because I don’t want it to happen on FOX or Showtime” mindset? It’s ridiculous. If you want to make the fight make the fight, don’t REQUIRE the other man who fights for another outfit to join yours and then claim he doesn’t want it. Meet them half way and make it a dual promotion. It’s been done before, this isn’t rocket science.Comment

Fury was still billed as the Lineal Champ and the rightful owner of AJs belts from a marketing perspective along with a comeback story was definitely the second biggest fight. I can't see the AJ fight literally being 10 times bigger to warrant Wilder wanting more than 40 mil as the B side.Fury had no belt and first ppv for both guys and sells are ticking above 325k and garnered much attention for the rematch.... You also forgetting Joshua is not tied to dazn fight does not need to happen on there Hearn said that himself should go to whoever puts up most money for it
Also I'm not forgetting the fight doesn't need to be on DAZN but they the only ones who have made an offer in nearly a year and it is their offer we are directly speaking about. Showtime have literally made one offer ever which was made hard to accept or easy to duck depending on your perspective due to refusal of meetings and details. I'm hoping they make AJ some offers on Tuesday if they're not going to accept the DAZN deal.Comment

Is Hearn even involved in the negotiations?
The way I see it based off the information DAZN have offered Wilder 100m for three fights. 2 against AJ.
People can say the contract was bad etc but you would be missing the point of these subscription deals. You get paid what it says you will be paid. It doesn't depend on how many people watch it. How many seats were sold. That is the ppv model and that model is dead.
If Wilder has turned down $100m for three fights then you have to say he is either ****** or being advised badly.
That is $100m guaranteed. No jumping through hoops, no hidden clauses. Simply turn up three times and fight three guys and the money is yours.
I have a feeling when all is said and done on Wilders career he will look back and think. **** I could have made $100m.
If he doesn't want the fight you can't force him to. We all would love to see it and right now he doesn't seem to be putting any effort into it being made. If $100m won't make him get in the ring with AJ then nothing will. Just strip him of the belt and give it to someone who will.Comment

Early last year, Wilder was swearing he was going to unify the HW division by beating Joshua. Later in the year, he scrapped the idea and took on Fury. After Fury gave him a lesson and nearly beat him, he's gotten very quiet about Joshua and unifying. Hell, he's not even screaming about a Fury rematch. We'll see what drivel he spews tomorrow.Comment

Hearn has offered him 40% previously and then said he was willing to go from that to something higher. If its DAZN there is no ppv other than UK.
The good reason is Haymon said no its not in his interest.
There has to be a very good reason for why Wilder declined a 100 million offer. Maybe they said Joshua would get way more money than he would in their fight & he felt disrespected. I don’t think Wilder should get 50/50 in their fight but something like 65/35 or 60/40 is very reasonable. I have a feeling that they were just going to offer Wilder a large flat fee but no to hardly no % of the gate/PPV money. Hopefully we find out all the details tomorrow.Comment
