Comments Thread For: Hearn: It's Frustrating, Done All We Can To Make Wilder-Joshua

Eddie Hearn, promoter for IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, is very frustrated that he was unable to get everything in position for a unification clash with WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Hearn felt confident a week ago, after Wilder sat down with streaming service DAZN to discuss a multi-fight deal which included a bout with Joshua.

      Forget it Hearn

The boxing world knows wilder fears Joshua

He doesn’t want to lose what he has, nobody can force wilder to fight Joshua

Karma will catch up on him soon

Saved by the ref vs Ortiz

Saved by the judges vs fury

He knows he better go back to fighting bums or it’s over

What excuse does Wilder have now?

This guy is the king of excuses. He made 4million in his last fight on PPV and he's being guaranteed 100million.

He must be the absolute dumbest guy ever in boxing. He's a KO waiting to happen and once that happens it's done.

So, just forget about Wilder for some time. It's hard to force someone to fight you, if he's running away.
Just fight the other best available guys. Even Luis Ortiz until he's too old. Try to get Fury.

At least you’re consistent in your views which can’t be said for the majority of the wilder fan base. The difference is after aj turned down the 50 million negotiations were still ongoing and an agreement was reached after. But rejecting a 100 mil 3 fight deal when you make about 3 mil a fight is ridiculous

So basically AJ won't commit to fighting Wilder and DAZN wants to use him to sell there streaming service with no guarantee of fighting for the unified championship. He'd have to fight bums like Whyte and Chisora to help out Hearn while never getting AJ in a 3 fight $100M deal. So Hearn has got to try and get the wool pulled over everyone's eyes and has been running damage control because AJ won't commit to the fight and is looking weak by avoiding Deontay again. Thus all the racists have come out to call Wilder names and pretend they know what he is gonna say on Tuesday off of what a shady promoter has been touting to the media. No facts, no class and no idea of what you are talking about sounds about typical for the irrational boxing fan that thinks along a doomsday divide and not a common sense one. God forbid anyone wants to use the wait and see approach when the announcement is made on Tuesday.
