McGregor took home a flat $3m for fighting Khabib – a sum which of course excludes any bonuses, PPV revenue and commercial deals. Nurmagomedov meanwhile took home $2m – very much the B-Side of the bout despite holding the lightweight title.

My point is AJ and DW are both well known HW at the moment, it doesn't matter who has more belts. They both are WC in their own right. They work hard and entertain the fans so please show some respect to all the boxers. Let their managers handle their affairs and stop ridiculing them.

For the shake of all fans my only request to AJ and DW, directly, please stop playing games with us, we pay your wages so please come out clean. Let's have an open joint press conference either in US or UK and both boxers clarify if they really want to fight each other.

Yes, mention the "Robberies" Hearn put on in the UK? I'd really like to read more laughable nonsense from this embarrassing thread.

There has to be a method to Wilder's perceived madness. We will find out later today exactly what his strategy is. It is utter nonsense to believe that Wilder is afraid of Joshua. Has Joshua fought Luis Ortiz? Crickets........! What is A.J's biggest win? An old Klitschko, who dropped his ass. BOMB SQUAD!

Last time wilder complained about a flat fee, this time Hearn came back with... a contract full of flat fees. I feel some that they were high flat fees but the fact remains. Wilders goal is not difficult to see he wants %

Wait, I thought wilder was meeting with skipper and refused to do any meeting with Eddie.

So why is Eddie still talking about this fight like he is anything other than a face who loves the camera?

Regardless, I’m waiting for the press conference

What's funny is that Haymon isn't stopping them from leaving, but most of them wanna stay! He didn't stop Jacobs, or Michael Hunter, or Beterbiev! However, the majority stay! They really like the services they receive, and so many can't understand it! They think it has to be something else going on!

No mystery there, he, or perhaps more accurately, his advisors, want the fight on Showtime PPV with as big a percentage as they can possibly get along with the usual support systems in place.

They want to maintain maximum control possible, strengthen their broadcast partners position and conversely weaken their broadcast partners' rivals position. It's possible that to achieve this strategic win they're willing to risk their fighters chances of a windfall far beyond where his own talents and commercial appeal would've taken him.

It is utter nonsense to believe that Wilder is afraid of Joshua. Has Joshua fought Luis Ortiz? Crickets........! What is A.J's biggest win? An old Klitschko, who dropped his ass. BOMB SQUAD
I don't believe he's afraid of him either. Although the desperate veneration of an old, high blood pressure Ortiz who only has Jennings on his own resume but still outboxed Wilder and may have won a fight unless the doctor stepped in is frankly pathetic. Joshua has had half the fights and assembled a far superior resume including 3 of the current Ring top ten HW's.

Wilder stepped up twice, against an aging overhyped never was in Ortiz when he struggled and against a washed up former champion who spent 3 years abusing food drugs and booze and he needed home cooked scorecards to cheat him out of the win that the majority of onlookers gave him as his cherry pick went disastrously wrong and he was exposed as being as poor a boxer as ever wore a heavyweight strap.
