I'm surprised he signed with ESPN also, to be honest.

    Odd times indeed.

Because he wants to fight more often than once or twice a year against uber drivers?

Dont understand this either, other than financially. This guy talks about taking on all the big names. He should have signed with Top Rank to get Fury. Seems like Fury is the new/Old face of the division again. Would be huge Money at The O2 or Wimbley!

When i see lies i've got to correct it, can't help it. Funny that you are making this thread more about Golovkin than anyone else. You couldn't help yourself but cry about Golovkin.

Whyte is hoping TR can get him that mandatory position. He’s banking on TR/ espn money to force and win a purse bid. TR has also built up a small heavyweight stable. Bryant Jennings, Kubrat Pulev, Oscar Rivas, Tyson fury. They might bring on Manuel charr also. It’s a power move that provides a sense of security for Whyte.

Partially, I believe it's because that on average; Top Rank pays their fighters just a little bit more than the PBC, does since there are so fewer of them. Also, lastly it's because the PBC don't have a centralized promoter like Top Rank either.

It's not, he's obviously been offered a multi-fight deal with guarantees whereas he has no guarantees fighting on UK PPV and DAZN don't seem interested in him.
