Why didn't Whyte sign with PBC?

This really surprised me. Whyte has been calling out Wilder for a long time and I figured he would sign with Haymon to get that fight. So will Arum make a Fury vs Whyte fight or will he keep them apart and have them both get into mandatory positions? What do you think?

TR probably offered him more money? And he will be Wilder's mandatory after the Breazeale fight so he can still fight him. Getting Whyte in turn also allows TR to get Wilder for two fights. They can win the purse bid and then obviously the Fury fight.

Well I guess he thought even with PBC Wilder will avoid him. Look at GGG he is not signing with PBC. If he thought he will get the Charlo fight he will have signed.

Golovkin wanted nothing to do with Charlo. His team said that.

Oh Please Charlo wont even fight guys that threaten him. He needs to rematch Korobov. Why is this about Whyte and it turns into GGG thread, ? Common Robbie.

Golovkin wanted nothing to do with Charlo. I wasn't the one that brought up Golovkin, i was the one just correcting him. Go cry at him.

He wasn't happy with Hearn. Although Hearn appeared to believe that Whyte would stay with him because he said he was working on a fight for July 13.

That was the curious part to me in all of this. Didn't Hearn and/or Whyte do an interview on Saturday talking about a fight coming up in July? And then boom! He goes to Top Rank.

According to Rafael, Arum was willing to pay Wilder over $8M for someone of Breazeale's caliber next. So you would think they can pay Whyte at least 4M or so for his next fight and then 10M+ plus for Fury if that fight ever happens. And LIS, Top Rank can very easily just win the purse bid for the Wilder/Whyte fight.
