the first fights a lot of epople will watch will be no hopers in fights that build stars. some of those people will never watch boxing again.

tyson - holyfield 2 was bigger than the first fight even after tyson got knocked out. you can fight again. you can catch lightning in a bottle. you can't get back TV time when your spots suck and nobody watches your fights so you get canned. nobody is goign to give a **** about wilder - joshua in 3-4 years, people are already starting to go stale on it. this isn't mayweather - pacquiao, nobody had the benefit of oscar de la hoya retiring and losing to make them stars.

Jesus christ. You make stars by putting them in with names. That's the tried and true method. The only reason we get this marinating is to skim a little more money off the public. And no one knows this new breed of boxers, because they dont ***ing fight anyone.

All the top guys right now have more than enough recognition where people know they are a name, unless what, we're waiting for them to be legends of their country before they ever step up? After each great victory, their stock will rise. The money is in fighting the top guys. The issue is the gayweather mentality that not onlt has mayweather instilled onto some boxers, but apparently also some boxing fans. Yes, fighting bum fights is great for accumulating some riches while staying safe. But it kills the sport in case you hadnt realized.

fury's fight with seferi was basically not a fight. pianeta is ranked 150th in the world right now. prior to that he was 350 lbs and hadn't fought since 2015. alcoholic and popped for coke. please don't try and tell me he was a more active or more "in fighting shape" fighter than wilder, because he was not! we should expect him to be a good deal sharper in the second fight, you should expect the style matchup, where a boxer has had 12 rounds to study a crude puncher, to favor the boxer. you should expect fury to bring more to be more improved than wilder physically.

wilder has had a long time to make adjustments in his career. we all recognized that he was an unfinished product when he made his way to TV in 2012 and '13. that was a very long time ago! he's adjusted very little to the ability of top 10 opponents to make him miss when he throws his wide shots. the guys with decent power have made him pay for it, too!

so if wilder's power wasn't enough before, he doesn't make adjustments and fury does, and he's facing a better fury, why are you picking him to win? wilder isn't going to put a glove on fury in the rematch. he'll have a better shot of getting lucky and knocking joshua out. go make that money while you can, he just isn't as good as joshua or fury. they've got wins over a better fighter to boot.

Well no bother to go any futher because I disagree with most of what you just said. And as far as Wilders's power not being enough you know Fury himself says he was out cold for 5 sec.But i already said why he could do better and not gonna waste time saying it again.Ill just agree to disagree

If it’s a good match/card then I’m watching it. I don’t care who the promoter is.

There are plenty of legitimate reasons to hate Arum. ******* is not one of them.

My belief in conspiracy fact (not theory) has nothing do with this. I have nothing against ***ish people.

You build stars by having fighter A destroying/beating all of the B/C/D level fighters and fighter B also destroying/beating all of the B/C/D level fighters. Then people want to see fighter A and B fight.

See Mayweather vs Pacquiao the BIGGEST GROSSING fight of all time and fights that proceeded it like Leonard-Hearns, Ali-Frazier. Beating the lesser fighters made people want to see them fight another fighter fighter who is doing the same thing.

For example at the moment casuals don't know who Spence, Danny and Mikey Garcia, Porter, Thurman and Santa Cruz. They need to be built up as people haven't been watching them fight so have no interest in seeing them fight each other. Of course we know who all of these fighters and we want Thurman to fight Spence. For example but the average person you see at Walmart wouldn't know who the phuck they are.
