Yes that's all we can do.This bs deal with Fury/Arum is a real buzzkill and to see all the fanboys stick up for Fury makes me sick.If it was Wilder who said he did not want fight next or possible even in 2nd fight of deal he would be GETTING KILLED.

there isn't a fight in boxing right now that needs to marinate outside of the legit blue chip prospects. haney, garcia, lopez, etc.

everybody else needs to start fighting. mikey garcia and errol spence is a great f#cking start. i wish mikey was bigger, but ithink he's going to surprise some people early on with how much snap he has and how he can find spence. still picking him to get beat up late and probably stopped.

otherwise the only dude who can be said to take on all comers and really earns big bucks is canelo. jacobs is a good fight, fielding was a gimme after fighting a monster puncher.

these fights at HW do not need to marinate! they are being marinated so guys can keep their records and not take Ls against each other or get knocked out. in the meantime they fight lesser fighters for bigger purses. everybody wins but the fans. networks, promoters, sanctioning bodies, fighters purses we need to see these guys fighting in their primes. one fight each after a hard fight for wilder - fury, but then that is it! if fury thought he had an easy time of it he can prove it by taking a rematch. and if wilder thought he won the fight he should have no problem knocking fury out this time, hmm?

fury will toy with wilder in the next fight btw.

The market will decide what it finds interesting.
were you one of the few who tuned in to Davis vs Ruiz or Dirrell vs Andrim ?

That would only work if all the boxing fans worked together as a giant force and all did the same thing. That is not possible and will never happen. Arum started that marinating stuff maybe 40 years ago and he is never going to change.

I disagree. I think fights do need to be marinated. With the new Fox deal there will be a lot of casual viewers who don't know most of the fighters. So flights will need to be marinated so these casuals/new fans can learn more about the sport and the best fights.

Why can't they all be the best fights? How does elite fighter vs random bum make "casuals" more interested? Wouldn't it be better to interest new fans with the best always fighting the best?

Yes, I watched both. Tank is interesting, so I always watch his fights, although I waited until it was on demand on Showtime Anytime as I figured it would be a quick beatdown.

The Dirrell fight I did watch on TV live. Figured it would be a close fight and the winner vs. Benavidez would be a good fight.

How is Tank "interesting"? He has the worst competition of any active champion who's showcased on TV or streaming services. Is he more "interesting" than Lomachenko who fights much better competition?

I remember your rules about ranking fighters pound for pound and it's based on how many belts they have. Is your p4p ranking currently

                      1. Usyk DAZN
                      2. Joshua DAZN
                      3. (tie) Lomachenko (soon to be #2 once Commey is healthy) ESPN
                      3. (tie) Hurd (
                      3. (tie) Canelo DAZN

Crawford (ESPN) was your number 1 but is now out of the rankings for moving up.
