Should boxing fans let Top Rank shows "marinate?"

Meaning, should we refrain from paying for the ESPN+ app and from buying Top Rank PPVs until Arum provides fights that are good and juicy?

It's the strategy he uses on the boxing public. Maybe it's time we start using it on him?

Watch the fights you want to watch. Don't watch the fights you don't want to watch.

Top Rank rarely has fights I care about, so I don't watch. It's not a boycott. If they have a fight that interests me, I'll watch it.

The market will decide what it finds interesting.

Some marination fights are good ones. Therefore it depends on the fights.

Do you. Me personally? I'll definitely tune in to fights I want to watch.

Why would you buy a PPV fight if it wasn't "juicy" as you say? Whether or not a fight is PPV worthy is determined by the customer. If Top Rank or any other promoter does not put together a match I am willing to pay for, then I don't pay. I cancelled my ESPN+ in January because they just weren't airing enough compelling fights for me. Sure, I missed out on Kovalev rematch, but what else is on the horizon? I think fans need to take a step back and stop showing loyalty to promoters and networks. Pay for the fights you feel are worth paying for or don't.

I agree. I’m the same with PBC to be honest.

                  - -Most boxing fans are already marinated well past any sensibility, and arum and boxing rely on that element easy to manipulate.
